I see and feel my ball dropping and higher net clearance. But I don’t see my ball “kicking” to the right as I see in some videos. My opponents say that my ball has some kick to it but I don’t see it lol. Is the serve differently perceived on the receiving end? I have never played against a person that has a reliable kick serve. How aggressively do I have to add spin for it to steer to the right? Insane
Hi all, i am a 4.0 (according to my club coach)
I have been trying out new rackets. I mainly played with Ezone 98 2022. I was able to scavenge cheap rackets from Facebook marketplace and was able to try out Pure aero 98 2023, diadem axis 98, and Yonex Vcore pro 97d. I was scared to try out the Vcore pro 97d because it was a control racket and many reviewers say it is for advanced people.
But I loved it. Weight didn’t bother me, great feel and feedback, good topspin, great slice, and good serves. It felt like I got way more controllable power than pa, axis, Ezone.
Why is control rackets such a feared racket among the tennis community?
I am so glad I was able to try out this stick.
