um hi i’m in bay area in college and i wanna try raving but idk anything about it other than it looks fun. is there anyone who could maybe help me out or smt lol

(3rd dan) i’m going to college, where i’m pretty sure there isn’t really any mats or good spots to practice, but i want to keep practicing at least by myself as i’m thinking of competing or at least continuing to test and train in the future.
any shoe recommendations? is it worth getting tkd shoes for this or would it be easier to just use like sneakers or like go barefoot on a gym floor or something?

i’m an incoming freshman, currently course planning, and i like to at least have an idea of the direction i want to take with my college career.
i had a lot of ap credits coming in, and many filled up credits for my major as well, so i basically have a choice - if i work hard and take many summer classes, i can graduate in 3 years, or at least be done with courses a semester or two early. or i could open up my summers and have lots of vacation time or internships while graduating in 4, but not need to take a single summer class except maybe summer coops.
is one more worth it? would there be a big difference in what i experience? what are some pros and cons to each?
