I’m new at this job and so is she I was hired a week after her and about 2 weeks ago she messages me asking if I wanted to go to a rave with her she had a extra ticket she claimed and this was at like 1 am. I said yes of course but not really sure what the vibes are !
It’s been nice experimenting with my style (rave wise) this year. I was a bit weary about wearing masc fits to raves, but they’re still comfortable to dance in. I end up getting hot regardless. Only downside is that some pants are less twerkable than others lmao.
To all my fellow ravers ! Anyone else have a sensitive skin and don’t want the be showing up at work with party stamps on their skin? 😂 Any advice to get rids of the ink without irritating the skin?! Thanks 🙏!!

I’m kind of broke rn, so I can’t afford much ketamine (only a little), which is what I typically use at raves (solely ket the first day, 2nd day ket then MDMA). So, I was wondering if I could take Acid the first day because of how long it lasts, and then on the second day could I take ket the first half of the rave and MDMA for the last part?
The rave I’m going to is Project Glow ✨ I know there’s some controversy around them but I live in NOVA so PG is really affordable for me.
There’s this weird thing that happens at shows where you’ll meet someone for maybe 10 minutes and then they just live in your brain forever.
You dance next to them for a set, trade kandi, share water, help them find their friend, hype each other up during one song, have one weirdly sincere little conversation… and then that’s it. Gone into the void.
And somehow it still feels real?
Not even in a romantic way. More like “damn, I hope that person is doing good.”
Raves create these tiny temporary friendships that feel way bigger than the actual amount of time you spent together.
Do you have a random rave stranger you still think about?
Did anyone catch Notre Dame’s set before Solomun? I know it’s a crapshoot but I’m trying to find the ID of a song. It was towards the end. I would describe as minimal tech house. Maybe a little funky. The thing that stood out to me was almost like a water drop sound on the kick of every 8 bars or so.
Does anybody can help me choose between those two subwoofers and tell me why one or another is superior 😁
I want to use it for Raves and for Weddings if that helps anybody to choose an specific sub for me 😂
This year I finally bit the bullet and went to EDC solo. Honestly, it was an incredible experience — I vibed on my own, explored at my own pace, and really got lost in the music. But throughout the weekend, there were so many moments where it felt like people around me were trying to connect, and I kept second-guessing myself.
Things like:
-girls slowly moving closer into my space while dancing
-people constantly looking back at me
- little moments like hands brushing against mine or my body
Even though I was rolling and feeling good, part of me still stayed stuck in my head telling me I was probably just being awkward or reading too much into things.
By the end of all three nights, I realized I never actually acted on any of those moments or made any real connections, and I honestly regret it.
For people who’ve gone solo to festivals/raves — what’s your experience with this? When you feel that kind of energy or attention from people around you, how do you actually break the ice without overthinking it? I’m totally open to making friends and meeting people, but in those moments I get shy and freeze up.
On night two of EDCLV 2026, there was a group of eight people at the front left side of the V!P deck doing something extremely disturbing and dangerous during Kaskade & Above and Beyond’s sets.
The group consisted of four men and four women, approximately in their 30s–40s. They were openly rubbing c*caine onto people around them and blowing it into people’s faces. They were speaking Chinese the entire time and clearly assumed nobody around them understood them, but I’m fluent and understood the full conversation.
They were laughing about bringing the c*caine from China and joking that they hoped people would pass out after being exposed to it. One of the men even said he didn’t care about wasting the coke because he had “so much dough” and just wanted to see if anything bad would happen to the people around him.
At one point, one of the women blew c*caine directly into the face of a girl standing near me. The girl immediately started panicking and said she had been sober for 11 years and was devastated that someone had violated her sobriety like that.
On top of that, the entire group was incredibly aggressive and disrespectful. They were shoving people with both hands, grabbing people, pushing people to the ground to get back to the rail, and one of the women even kicked another girl to force her to move.
I reported the situation to security, but nothing was done.
I want people to be aware this happened and stay alert. What these individuals were doing was not only disgusting behavior, but genuinely dangerous.
Found my new favourite flow combination. Such great fun to play with my favourite flow toys at once 🔥 🌈
Hey everyone, I know some of us had a bad experience or almost got the day ruin by fake ravers and unplur people last night but let's show people that this isn't really how EDCLV culture is. Let's forget and forgive the people on day 2 John Summit crowd incident and move on. You guys are all better than this and lets not bring negative.
Also if people are trying to get out of the crowd please show empathy and create a path way for them to leave, it's way faster to do that and let people pass by super quick and out of your way.
