Rob throwing subtle shade at Ryan for his shady antics ?

Around the 2:22 mark the interviewer asks what it’s like being an actor and getting feedback in that area verses that of a stadium and the direct feedback they get in terms of the team and I find robs response interesting mentioning always having a camera on them and wearing a wire so @ 2:50 he mentions “you don’t get to hide behind a character, you don’t get to hide behind a costume this is who you are and the cameras always watching” and cut to Ryan where it looks like the wheels in his head are spinning overtime and he’s like shit is this play about me ?

I think their “relationship” is purely professional and idk how rob feels about the case or Ryan now but I thought was a subtle call out since the narrative around Ryan is that he uses Deadpool as a mask and hides behind snide humor.

Ryan Reynolds is a VERY Scary Sad Clown!

YT creator cheeree does a really good job of compiling Ryan’s past and current interviews, stories, his relationships , and social media to strip away his public persona revealing a much more complex and dare I say dark inner mind. Will try to add more details soon and although this video is a bit lengthy by some standards I think it does a good job of laying it all out !

Edit- my attempt at a summary!
(I will post some screenshots in the comments with a bit of context relating to the video)

I’d like to start off with a quote cheere says “many a truth is spoken in jest” - starting around the 1:50 mark she mentions Ryan’s use of humor to mask in such a way that looking back you almost wonder why it didn’t raise more eyebrows and yet here we are.

3:10 she touches on his childhood briefly I believe most of us are familiar with his burning of his school, his grandparents to sending him to torment his drama teacher (basically) and his issues with his father and the partnered anxiety of his obvious unresolved issues.

Around 5:45 a dive into his relationships touching on alanis, Scarlett and Blake. Now she pointed out something I noticed immediately with Blake in which as early as his relationship with alanis they mention how they would work around each others schedule like Alanis’ tour dates (sound familiar) then his age gaps weren’t as significant as his next tryst was with Scarlett which left alanis devastated and I mean who wouldn’t be when they separated 2009 and two months later he’s with scarjo and they marry a year later- mind you alanis and Ryan were together for 7 years engaged for 3. Talks of jealousy and control issues buzz around Ryan and Scarlett as her stardom was rising (dare I say outpacing his) so naturally Ryan is fishing for the next and with that the age gap increases I think he thought he landed a big dummy with Blake.

16:10 - the relationship with Blake is touched on and ofc bad acting wasn’t the only thing going on on the set of green lantern. Cheere mentioned their affair started on that set but low and behold it’s all hush hush Ryan is with scarjo then Blake is with penn that’s fall off eventually and in comes Leo DiCaprio but we all know how that ends but to the public the story the used was Blake and Ryan met on a “double date”

21:00 - she gets into their weird banter and I like how she uses examples and really looking at them idk how anyone thought they were a Hollywood golden couple when it just comes off as disdain cloaked with humor.

27:30 - HERE IS WHERE IT CEMENTED THE DEAL FOR ME THESE TWO ARE WEIRD AND HATE EACH OTHER cheere mentions that in a now deleted ig post Blake made for Ryan on (a) Father’s Day the caption read “since the day our baby was born I felt so strongly in my heart you were mos likely the father. Aw.” Yeah I can see why it got deleted. She plays into the cheater label and so does he it’s like they have a demented and passive aggressive back and forth that was packaged as married couple humor.

38:00 ish is where discussion of Ryan’s control issues on set is discussed starting with Deadpool director Tim miller just realizing there’s no winning Ryan who wants it his way in every single aspect! Justin wasn’t the only one to be alienated during a premier as he did that first with Morena (Vanessa in Deadpool) she was made to be alone and it’s been said she shared some of her thoughts and disagreements but Ryan has an awful attachment to Deadpool since now everyone knows that just a way of masking for him (hint nicepool)

Now towards the end 48:00 she goes into his outdated frat bro gay humor and his friendships with Jake gyllenhaal that is no more and his still standing friendship with Hugh which she finds peculiar and so do I tbh in the end who is Ryan really ? Watching this it’s like he is deeply rooted in insecurity it takes over every aspect of his life which is why he feels the need to be in control.
