$300.... I’m trying to decide between the NexiGo PJ40 Pro Google TV and the Optoma Photon Life PH31, and I’d really appreciate some advice from people who have used either one.

For context, my setup is:

• 🧱 Wall width: 2 meters / 6.56 feet
• 📏 Projector distance from wall: around 2.6–3 meters / 8.53–9.84 feet
• 📚 The projector will sit on a shelf behind me, slightly above head level
• 🎬 I’ll mainly be using it for movies/TV and general entertainment.

With this setup, which projector would you choose? I’m particularly interested in picture quality, brightness, contrast/black levels, fan noise, ease of setup, streaming/Google TV experience, and overall reliability.

Also, will either of these projectors have trouble producing the right image size on a 2-meter-wide wall from that distance? I want to make sure I’m not buying something that’s a poor fit for my room.
