People who took student loans to study abroad, what is your relationship with money now? are you able to spend yourself without feeling guilty? Do you feel like not wanting to spend on things because you know you have to pay the loan? I know mohe doesn't strictly enforce the repayment but it's still on my mind. if I don't pay this my parents inherit my debt.
All materialistic things feel useless for me now. I don't wanna eat out or buy things unless necessary like living costs. I feel uninterested in everything unless it brings me a return in investment like paying for gym because it improves functionality, reading to improve my knowledge. If I'm relaxing or socialising I feel like I'm wasting my time and start to think about how my time could be spent more productively. Any kind of entertainment gets boring very quickly like watching films or anime. I dont even play games now.
But then sometimes I wonder what's the point of working so hard and being productive if you can never enjoy the fruits of your own labour?
