Wheelie Control Recall

Wheelie Control Recall

Has anyone successfully had the Wheelie Control Recall done? Local dealers didn’t have the dongle to connect to the AT and other dealers said they cannot even schedule me in over the last month. I now cannot get my registration sticker for DMV since the recall is open. The dealer I bought it from went out of business and the next closest dealer also went out of business in the last year. I don’t think mine has the issue because I have definitely had wheelie control activate and haven’t had any stalling.

Need aftermarket upgrade struts/shocks

I have maybe 69k miles on my ascent and the front suspension sounds horrible. I had purchased Eibach ProLift Kit springs but was going to wait until I wore out my CC2 tires on the 20s that came on the car (onyx edition) and do struts/shocks/springs and swap to 18s and ATs at the same time. I just did a 4k mile road trip to Colorado and back from California and holy crap the hollow front strut sound drove me nuts the whole time. It literally sounds like the suspension is gonna fall out of the car. I threw it on a lift after getting home. Everything is torqued, none of the bushings are split, ball joints are good, so it has to be internal to the struts themselves. I have been waiting to get Aftermarket upgrade shocks but still nothing from Bilstein, Koni, Tokico, KYB, anything. There are just cheaper struts that suck even more than the ones that came on the car. Pretty bummed at the absolute lack of Aftermarket support for such a popular car.

California/Arizona/Utah/Colorado/Nevada road trip

I just did a week plus road trip from Northern California to the Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce, Capital Reef, Swingarm City OHV, Arches, Canyonlands, Castle Valley, Golden, and Redrocks for The Elovaters and Collie Buddz and Hip Abduction in my car. I did have to do a night of tent camping because of legality of sleeping in a car in Golden… and winds blew the tent all to hell. I took hundreds of photos and videos and panoramic but am limited to 20 pics. Subaru Ascent Onyx Edition worked great and got great mileage, and fit my 2 Plano camp boxes, AstroAI freezer, RTIC and Pelican coolers, Bluetti Elite 300&AC2L and charged via the Charger 2, and I slept in the back of the car on a Luno bed. It honestly was a pretty perfect setup. Now I have to clean it all out 🤣
