26 days later SOS my plant is rotting

Previously I asked for your advice on how to save my overwatered and nearly rootless snakeplant.

I had removed it from the pot, removed all soil and cut off rot. Then I left it on my floor for 30 hours before repotting in bonedry cactus soil and 1/3 perlite.

I had no expectations as to this 60-70cm tall plant surviving with just a few and in some cases no roots left.

And we are not out of the woods yet.

Until yesterday I hadn’t watered it. Then I poured in 1 liter and I’m thinking that’s it for the next three weeks.
There is plenty of drainage in the pot and only a little moisture has dribbled through, so I’m thinking the soil has taken in the water.

I have not removed the supports or strings as it still seems very dangly and I don’t think it would stay upright without.

Some of the plants seem to be okay happy - I’m seeing new growth. With others I have my doubts.

But what’s your opinion? How do I give this plant the best survival chances?
