Careerluv and Eclipse issue

I just signed up for the first month with Careerluv. I emailed Laura with my name for Eclipse, and am having my new student onboarding on Zoom for Monday. The problem is I called the number to get my eclipse software. I was instructed to go to a website and fill it out. This was on Friday and I didn’t receive anything nor do I know what I’m supposed to be receiving? My guess is I may need the software for Monday’s Zoom to possibly go over how to use the software. I plan on calling again tomorrow, and resubmitting my info on website again. Can anyone let me know what I’m supposed to be receiving? A confirmation email, or anything? I’m so confused and feel a little left in the dark. Also, do I need the software before the zoom call? I’ll push it back if need be.

My ex (34m) wants to remain friends with me(33f)

My ex and I broke up 3 days ago after a HUGE blowout. This followed about a month of really bad name calling, and insults on his part when we would get into fights. He completely blames alcohol, and while I do agree with him that’s it’s a huge contributing factor, I also believe he’s just a really unhappy and insecure guy. Regardless, he’s one of the best boyfriends I’ve had. He’s only had one relationship which sounded more like a toxic situationship. I’ve been in a few and my longest being 8 years.

I broke up with him and am standing my ground on not being disrespected like that anymore in relationships. I’m very aware of how it will snowball and become a much bigger and more frequent problem. He came over today in shambles. I decided to hear him out. We talked for a good hour or so and after talking seemed to understand that we aren’t good for each other and just aren’t compatible. I’m taking this a lot better than he is. He was pretty adamant on just remaining friends. Part of me thinks he just wants to slowly rip this band-aide off, but the other part of me knows we also had a lot of fun together. Has anyone done this before? We only dated 5 months so I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. If you have, did it work? Or does someone always carry feelings over into it?

Remission after 3 weeks

I’ve been testing my cat a few times a day and her glucose is still in normal range before, and after eating. It’s been about a week now that she hasn’t had insulin because it would bring her number down too low. Because the vet she’s been seeing for years lost my trust by making everything seem like she’s dying and must be seen immediately with any question I might have and costs me $600 each time, I’d like to wait out calling them

In the meantime, I’ve been told on here to do my own curve test despite not using insulin. I still plan on doing that. I have a hunch the numbers will be good. If so, at what point do I call her vet and what should I expect? Is there a test they do to deem her in remission? I’d feel irresponsible if I didn’t take her in for them to confirm. At what point should I do this, if at all?

Remission?

I posted just 2 days ago on here about thinking about rehoming my newly diabetic cat over spending thousands of dollars in less than a month, and not getting clear or concise answers about how to manage my cat at home, the last straw was her skipping breakfast when I was supposed to do the curve test thing and calling the vet only to be told once again that she needed to come in right away despite me telling them I could not afford coming in multiple times a week.

They apologized on the vet techs behalf because it turns out she was fine. She didn’t eat for the 6 hours she was there and didn’t receive insulin. But her glucose levels were remaining relatively the same and in the normal range. The vet said she might suspect she could be in remission. I gave her insulin last night during her meal. Woke up this morning and tested her and she was low. I skipped the insulin. I’ve been testing her a few times during the day and she’s remaining in the normal range. Dinner is coming up, I’m skipping the insulin if she remains at these levels. Is it possible for a cat who was diagnosed a few weeks ago to already be in remission? I feel like the worst cat parent for possibly giving her insulin when she was possibly low from previous injections. I only recently found out about testing her at home thanks to this forum. Im incredibly exhausted from made to believe that she was in crisis while she was there, but seeing these numbers at home. I don’t even know what to think at this point and I’m terrified to call the vet to even ask because they’re likely to call it another emergency and make me fork up another $400. I will eventually call on Monday. But ffs this has taken and emotional toll on me and my fur baby.

I am at a loss

A few weeks ago my cat was diagnosed with diabetes. I legitimately thought I was going to say my goodbyes to her and spent thousands to save her life. When she was stabilized after being hospitalized I was given 6+ prescriptions, IVs for home, and other things. I was more than willing to do it. The vet I’m with isn’t the best with communicating with me about what I’m supposed to do at home besides the prescribed stuff. I’m almost a month in and did my own digging and found out I could test her glucose at home. Today I was supposed to do the curve test, or whatever it’s called and call in later today with the numbers. This is after I stressed to them that I cannot keep spending $300,$600 every week or sometimes 3xs a week. I haven’t been able to work, and I’m out of money. They said they would work with me, and today was supposed to be the day I tested her at home to figure out what her curve is, or whatever it’s called. Well, her first glucose test was normal. But she didn’t want breakfast so I couldn’t give her insulin. I only know this because she doesn’t really eat breakfast and initially the vet told me that we just skip insulin until her dinner time. Great. Well, I call this morning and they immediately said it was an emergency and she needed to come in. I was confused but who am I to question this. I ran her in. The vet tech seemed confused, there were no other symptoms, she wasn’t tired or sick, and the glucose test I had done 2 hours earlier was good. They said they would call me and tell me what they found out. I’m once again paying another $300-$600. I can’t rush her in everytime she misses breakfast. I’m getting pulled one way then another about her being stable. They said this could be managed at home. I don’t know what to do. I cannot afford this and my job is now on the line with how many days I’ve missed. I’m seriously thinking of rehoming her. I love her dearly but I am not capable of giving her the care she needs, and I can’t keep up with how much this has already cost me in such a relatively short time. Does it ever end? Will she have to go back every time she doesn’t have breakfast? I’ve asked all these questions and I get one answer one day and another the next. She needs special care and I unfortunately can’t do it. I seriously tried.
