Hi there! I recently moved into a house in an apartment-style community. I do not share a wall with anyone. The WiFi provided by the complex is through WhiteSky and it is absolutely terrible. I have not been able to even FaceTime with family without them telling me that they can’t hear me or see me.

What are my options here? I don’t have access to the WhiteSky router, it is in a locked box in my closet that says do not open. I looked at the Verizon gateway box and they said they do not have open service in my area.

I love to play games online, and also work from home occasionally. Does anyone have any suggestion? I’m willing to pay extra (on top of the $150 I’m already paying the complex for WhiteSky and my “smart home”) to get this resolved. TIA!

My partner and I are looking for an apartment or sublet for an early August-mid August move-in. We are moving from Texas and don’t have a huge preference for the neighborhood, but would like to be close to bus line and/or walkable distance to a metro.

We have been having trouble on the DC Facebook groups as most people don’t want a couple and would prefer a single roommate, which is totally understandable. The additional struggle is that we have two ESAs and one cat.

Any leads for an apartment, room available, or sublet?

Willing to pay up to $1,850 a month.
