Golf Course Recs

Looking for opinions on which of the following to play this week.

Burnt Pine
Regatta Bay
Kelly
Indian Bayou

Mostly looking for fun views and holes. Playing with rental clubs so I don’t expect to score, but I’m a 6 hcp and can manage.

If all prices are equal, what’s your pick?

Replacing 2 speed blower motor with 5 speed

I am replacing an old blower motor with a new 5 speed. If i'm understanding correctly, the old motor (wires in picture) is a 2 speed. Old motor only has black, white, red + two purples (capacitor). I need to park the extra three wires from my new motor.

Google is telling me D is for dummy, aka park. Is that correct? All I'd need to do is match the new white/black/red where the existing connections are, then park my brown, yellow, and blue from the new motor on "D"?

Cove moulding to trim this gap?

Butcher block desktop up against shiplap and I was planning on cove molding to cover the gap. Gap is too large for caulk.

  1. what is the best way to trim this? Will cove moulding work?
  2. if so, how can I find the two inside angles without an angle finder? They are both less than 90*
  3. other ideas that would work and look better?

Please excuse the out of square drywall, miscut butcher block, and yet to be leveled top. I is a rookie that banks on trim fixing everything.

Leveling for LVP

Putting down LVP in basement and there’s a large hump in the concrete at the wall. Can I just grind it down or is there a reason for it?

I am currently installing LVP that will butt up against carpet. I have a walkway from one room into another that is going to be LVP to a bar area where carpet meets the LVP. The yardstick to the two planks are a rough edge of how far the LVP will extend past the bar. It is slightly narrower than the width of the planks. I am planning on z bar for a seamless transition from carpet to LVP

Should I

  1. stagger the seams. I assume this is correct but I don’t know how to make a clean line where it meets the carpet, or will the carpet tucked into zbar cover the up cut lines?

  2. use a single plank for the entire stretch? That would lead to seams all lined up as I extend past the bar (third pic)
