How do you guys deal with nosy classmates in nursing school?

My clinical group is great, we work well together with assignments and have no issues. However, when it comes to individual work and exams some of them call me and ask if I did any of the readings or if I started on an assignment masking it as a "hey I called because I wanted to check up on you". Some will also ask for your score or grade which is why I leave right away after an exam.

I can't avoid them unfortunately because I am forced to work with them. Please let me know how to set boundaries or avoid people like this because its stressing me out. Especially when I ask the same question back and they say " I read the whole textbook" or "studied the whole day".

Is it bad that I want to keep school friends separate from my real life?

I kinda regret sharing/opening a bit of my personal life to these school friends. I have clinicals and assignments with these people so we are basically forced to work together and spend time with each other almost everyday. I opened up about my life outside of school pretty much the basics - work and my dating life. I casually told them that I have a bf as in "yeah I have a bf now" but after that I just feel like they wanted to know more (I totally understand). However, the reaction that I received from one of them felt like judgment. Almost like they weren't happy for me and secretly praying on my downfall? (I could be wrong). The conversations we would have were always about school and I am sensing they don't have a life/other communities outside of school. For example, when we had a one month break from school, one of them made a gc and was planning a bunch of hangouts. I did not attend a single one cause of work and because I wanted to catch up with my friends outside of that program but to me it felt like that was their only source of community.

Sure maybe I should put more of an effort to get to know them and I do take full accountability on not wanting to attend hangouts, but part of me feels like I don't want them in my circle of friendships or personal life. Like these aren't my group of people if that makes sense.

Let me know what you guys think. I need advice :)

Need advice: balancing work and school

Hey everyone! I came on here to ask for advice or any insight of your experience working while in nursing school.

For context, I am in my first year of nursing school. I work once a week (5 hour shifts) and have 9 hour days at school Monday and Tuesday. Then Wednesday and Thursday I have clincials for 7.5 hours. Thursday evenings I also volunteer at church. It's not too bad but it does get very stressful and I find myself getting sick.

I just want to know how some of you balance work and school.
