The biggest problem
This is unfortunately the biggest poison of this community: the utter bias of some people.
Because if we have to believe the general bias of some posts, then the next Super Smash Bros game will:
Cut off all the Clones and Echo Fighters because they are expendable trash.
Cut down even those series of just 3 characters, if not only 2 characters when not counting Echo Fighters, if not remove them outright because they are not relevant.
Feature 30 or something 3RD Parties, but at the cost of cutting off 30 or something Nintendo characters. Because obviously, this \\\\\\\*\\\\\\\*Nintendo\\\\\\\*\\\\\\\* game cannot have many Nintendo characters.
\\\\-And all of this while they say who can stay, which ranges from idiocies like cutting Villager but keeping Isabelle (because Sakurai forbids the \\\\\\\*actual\\\\\\\* main character of Animal Crossing stays in), cutting at least 3 to 4 Fire Emblem characters, even literally all the characters from Fire Emblem Awakening onward; to cutting Pyra and Mythra too because they will surely be replaced in the next game.

These imbeciles are biased, it's the only way to explain why would anyone actually pretend that Banjo & Kazooie would be kept over any 3RD Party if Nintendo was forced to choose, because those 2 are apparently so important and relevant; all while saying with a straight face that folks like Ken Fucking Masters are surely going to be cut because they are Echo Fighters. etc..
