I regularly climb and hike and need a new pair of pants but all the ones I am finding are either too expensive, not long enough or low quality. I have had my current pair of climbing pants for 3 years and they now have 3 small holes :( They were a pair of cargos on sale at H&M that I got for about $15 but have been very durable. I found that climbing wears down jeans a lot so I avoid wearing jeans if I can. I am 5'7 with long legs so I need at least a 32 inseam. Does anyone have recommendations? Thanks!
Hello! Over a year a ago I was on all kids medicaid but was kicked off once i turned 19. I have been on my dad's insurance but I pay for it and my co-pays and it is wayy too much! I am on too many medications. Last summer, I applied for medicaid but they said my family income was a little over than what it needs to be for an adult to receive medicaid. I only live with my parents over the summer and this is probably the last summer I will live with them. What can I do?
I just finished my junior year and I took my MCAT a month ago but still haven't gotten my score. I don't think I did well. Is there time to retake it?
Honestly, I have no faith in me getting into medical school. Like 0% chance. I am not a CNA or an EMT. All I have done is volunteered at a hospital for 4 summers, I have 300 hours with patient care volunteering. I also have 125 hours of shadowing with 6 different but mostly the same 2 hospitals. I feel like my application is week. I have a GPA of 3.3 but I also go to a really good public university (top 10 public, top 3 for my major which is psychology). I have led 2 independent research project and have been involved in 2 other research labs. I am writing a senior thesis on one of my research projects. I am the editor in chief of my university yearbook and that is my main responsibility, it takes up about 15 hours of work a week. I am also a TA and I work about 13 hours a week.
I wish I had gotten a CNA license 2 summers ago or even last summer. I feels like I have failed and I don't know what to do. My brother (younger) has received more support from my parents since he lives at home while going to college. I go to college away and I pay for my own rent and tuition.
I think I would love to attend an MD/PhD program but again, I seriously think the chances of me getting in are 0. I have basically no medical school relevant extracurriculars and it feels like I spent my first 3 hours of my undergrad just working.
