Traps would be fun to have

I know people have suggested them in the past but I think they would just be interesting to have as the NVA. Currently the equipment imbalance is pretty big with the amount of weapons the NVA has versus the US, so they should probably wait a bit before adding these.

There are hundreds if not thousands of options they could pick from, these are just some simple ideas they could pull from. I'm not sure how they would implement them in game fully, but they should definitely limit the amount that can be placed at a time. Just like nodes.

Game mode idea

I know we're getting new maps in the future but I hope to see some Urban maps as well. I was thinking of a mode that could take place during the Tet Offensive. The NVA team needs to move through the city securing one building after another before going after the US spawn point. The US needs to defend and repel the NVA. If the US gets pushed back they lose resources. This then gives the NVA more resources after capturing objectives, starting with a minimal amount.

I think this would also be a cool way to introduce ARVN forces to the game. Just make it so there's a chance when you spawn back in, you're either American or Vietnamese. Doesn't change gameplay that much I think it would just be cool to finally see ARVN forces in game.

I think with the amount of modes we have currently Warfare could work for this. Probably need a couple tweaks to it though, maybe make it a mix between offense and warfare.

What kind of firearms do you guys want to see in the future? Outside of the ones that got announced.

I know everyone wants the SKS and the M14 and I'm happy that we're getting them. Outside of those and the other guns that are down the line in the roadmap, what else do y'all want to see?

I hope they add a M3A1 Grease Gun for American tankers to combat the SMG the NVA has.

You can no longer open the game on Xbox, it just directs you to the store.

I woke up this morning and one of my friends messaged me saying that you can no longer open the game. This is true because if you do it immediately takes you to the store and usually immediately starts playing the trailer. the size of the game has also decreased from about 19 GB to 340.1 MB.

I have a pretty decent understanding of why they did this but I just wanted to make this post now so that anyone who's attempting to open the game after yesterday now knows that it cannot be. I don't know anything about PS5 or PC so I won't speak as an authority figure for them but I on Xbox cannot.

I have faith that the devs will be able to fix or improve on the things that I saw yesterday and Monday before the game fully releases on the 13th.

*Edit after a few replies, thanks for everyone who actually read this and didn't just decide to comment some gobbledygook.

I don't even know what to call this...

I was just shooting random stuff as one does and this weird thing occurred.

I have no idea what caused it but it happened.

The main menu

People kept asking for this and I don't exactly know why but I don't think it's going to hurt if I just send the menu.

Helicopter shadows only show the people inside of them.

I was not able to get a video of this because you are alone in the practice range. It seems to be whenever you are sitting in a seat that is not the pilot or the co-pilot, when you look down on the ground your shadow does not show a helicopter but just your floating character and the other people inside of it floating.

I understand that it's harder to believe since I do not have a clip for this but I promise that it does occur and I saw this multiple times. Other people I played with and talked to can also agree to this.

Bullets choose to randomly not pass through or visibly show penetration or damage to items.

Just like with glass bullets clearly don't do damage regularly to items when hit. Occasionally damage can be seen done and penetrations can be noticed but it is not a constant.

I noticed if you try to hit vehicles no visible damage is shown unless you use an RPG.

Glass doesn't break when shot or have any visual change.

I was at the practice range shooting dummies and I decided to shoot the truck to see if the rounds would go through and the glass just doesn't break.

Not shown in this clip but rounds also do not pass through objects or leave visual damage on the other side if they are.

Shooting an M16A1 for that guy who wanted to see it

Like I said in all my other posts I don't have all the versions of the M16A1 yet but this is just the default version without the bayonet or under barrel.
