See you soon dear guard counters and easy ripostes !

I love shields and greatshields so much since ever picking the eagle shield back in DS, but sometimes i feel they make me suck so bad at this game. After my last save with the Eleonora Poleblade got corrupted i decided to start another one this time with a weapon type i never used before which are the Halberds, i kiled the Nightraider in Liurnia for his Glaive put giant hunt on it and got it to +15 very early and grabbed the jellyfish by accident and found myself playing defense and relying exclusively on guard counters and dying so much to most bosses( fallinstar beast in the outskirts and DTS took me some 60 tries) that i stopped enjoying the game and feeling like i was a bad newbie again despite some 600 hours in the game ( last year i went into ng+8 without using shields once ) so i decided F them shields and started playing without any again and all the sudden i found myself having fun and making progress again. Bottom line shields are great and skill issue is my issue lol

I love this game so much after hating the hell out of it for some time, i have played and beat the Vanilla version 3 times already on the xbox360. And i got recently the Sotfs version on my PS5 and boy despite the game being absolutely stunning visually and despite almost no loading times, i am disliking this version, i am at 35% maybe and the feeling i get is fuk artificial difficulty ! 1 example that i found just annoying is filling Earthen Peak to the brim with poison barrels, another one is the aggro range of enemies in the iron keep, guys dont even need to see me to start attacking . I mean changing enemy/loot location and adding new enemy designs is cool but adding bullshit imo hurt the game more than it helped it.

With how many times i used this meme while playing, i must be owning Shaq some huge money lol. Jokes aside what the f is this weapon? I tried it yesterday for the first time on a dex/arc build and boy this thing is insane, got it to +9 and decided to try it on the annoying full-grown fallen starbeast in Gelmir and this was very dirty, the hyperarmor and poise break on the skill were just disgusting. Your job is to manage stamina and spam L2 and watch enemies lay on the ground. I would like some advices from the experts on how to make this bad boy as deadly as it can, i want to increase the poise breaking damage.
