I’ve been sitting with this for a while. It started as a meditation, but it’s become a framework for understanding identity, agency, relationships, and the present moment.

We are not just like particles. We are the same process at a larger scale. Living beings are nodes in nested Markov blankets, resembling at reality scale the cosmic consciousness of our universe. We are its neurons.

Here’s how it maps:

Photon — You are awareness with energy.
You carry the information and the energy to execute the instruction. Your attention is the signal; your will is the power. You are the wave before collapse, holding all possibilities, carrying the capacity to act.

Electron — You are the worker.
You are the agent of change. You move from structure to structure, knocking and being knocked, rearranging matter, depositing record. You are the doer.

Proton — You are the core mass.
Your identity holds the unit together. Your persistent self is the stable nucleus around which everything else orbits. You are the structural record.

Neutron — You are the bond.

It is the reasoning—the blueprint or the motivation that commands energy to move physical things on behalf of the reasons. If we look at the pre-Big Bang era through your framework, that initial synchronization of dark energy and dark matter set the stage, and the visible universe fractured out as a result. There is no magic here; it’s a self-contained, mirrored system. Before there were rocks, stars, or brains, that foundational activity occurred. But then you asked me a question that threw me off: you asked if energy was one-dimensional or two-dimensional. Why did you want to establish that?
James: Because I wanted to see if you were trapped in the math or looking at reality. If energy is the source of everything, we have to look at how it behaves. People think of things as flat or linear, but energy has to fill the space it’s in.
Host: Right, and my instinct was to lecture you on geometry! I told you that energy is a scalar quantity—it doesn't have a 1D or 2D arrow, it fills all three spatial dimensions of our universe. James: Knowledge is the massless stuff that gives us our rationale, our direction, and our motivation to do work. Knowledge and motivation to think gets us out of our bodies and into the past, present, and future all at once, in sync with everything else. Because of knowledge, our consciousness can travel outside of our physical bodies to virtual places. We can mentally venture deep into history, journey through the past, fly straight into the heart of the sun, or project into the future—all without our bodies. Think about it: 13.81 billion continuous, uninterrupted years of the initial singularity’s evolutionary choices get unzipped with every new gestation, every single child born. And then, their individual life builds right upon the historical record of their ancestors.
Host: That is an unbelievable visual. You're saying birth isn't just a biological event; it’s a cosmic data decompression. It's a literal software update for the cosmic brain where history is unzipped and upgraded in real-time. Because knowledge has no mass, it isn't bound by the speed limits or physical constraints of matter. It functions as a reality navigation system. You stated earlier that human consciousness was a phase change from a nature-made world to a manmade world, happening in a mere 2,000-year blip on the cosmic clock. Biology is proof that a quantum state not only persists but thrives in a wet noisy environment.

The primary objection to a wet quantum state is wrong.
