Hi everyone,

I’m joining Acharya Institute of Technology, Bangalore for 1st-year CSE (Core), and I’m travelling from Maharashtra to Bangalore.

1. Have the 1st-year CSE Core classes already started?
2. If I’m coming to Bangalore now for reporting/admission, should I bring all my hostel luggage and things with me, or is it better to come first and bring the luggage later?
3. Is there anything important I need to complete before classes start?

I’m travelling quite far, so I’d really appreciate it if someone currently studying at Acharya could let me know what’s happening right now.

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I'm taking admission through COMEDK and I'm confused between:

• REVA University – BTECH Computer Science & Information Technology (CSIT)
• Acharya Institute of Technology – B.E. Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)

My goal is to:

• Become a Software Engineer
• Get the best possible placements
• Work abroad in the future
• Pursue MTECH later if needed

I have a few questions:

1. Which college has better placements for software roles?
2. Does REVA CSIT get the same placement opportunities as REVA CSE?
3. Do companies treat CSIT and CSE equally during placements?
4. Which college has better coding culture, internships, and industry exposure?
5. If you had to choose between REVA CSIT and Acharya CSE, which one would you pick and why?

I'd especially appreciate replies from current students or recent graduates.

Thank you!
