I Lost a tournament and want to get better, but don't know the best approach

So, for context: I (29F) have been playing tennis since April 2026, and I take group lessons since in my area it’s super expensive to have private lessons. There was this small tournament for the people that play at the place I do lessons, and I won 1 match and lost 2.

Since it was mainly for beginners, the matches were only 1 set with 9 games. The first one I was so nervous I kind of blacked out for 5 games, then came back and won 4, but it was not enough and I lost. Second match I was really relaxed, so I just went with the flow and won naturally.

The last match made me realize how much behind I am because it was against a teen girl who has been playing for 3 years (lost 9 to 4), and her dad and brother are tennis instructors (important information: the brother also gives group lessons to me). And what got me really annoyed is how good of a hitter that girl was, and most importantly, her serve motion was waaaaaaay ahead of mine (the main thing I noticed is that I can't pronate properly), but this same guy never corrected my serves. Also, my gf recorded some shots for me and that's how I realized how bad I am because I was never corrected, just watched some YouTube videos and tried to do my best to get the ball in play lol.

Anyways, what should I do to improve? Save for a few private lessons? Be less anxious and just keep practicing the same way and eventually improve? Try to film myself more? I am really at a loss cause I think I don't trust this guy for my lessons anymore, but I don't know if I'm just angry cause I lost.

tldr: I (29F) played a beginner tennis tournament and realized my form is terrible after my gf filmed my matches. I lost my last match to my group instructor's sister, whose technique was amazing, which made me realize he never actually corrects my form. Now I'm debating if I should drop this coach or if I'm just salty about losing and should keep practicing the way I am.
