I’ve never seen two brothers this close to both becoming UFC champions at the same time. I genuinely think Usman has what it takes—he’s still young and improving every fight. But I think Umar has the better chance of winning the belt because he’s the more complete fighter. If they both become champions… that would be insane.

I think Team Khabib is trying to fast-track Usman into title contention. Maybe they’ll give him Max or BSD while Chanko/John Pork take fights outside the rankings. That way, Usman is already in the title picture before Chanko gets ranked, avoiding them having to fight each other. But who knows anything can happen
People will still come up with “ifs” and “buts,” but you’ve got to admit he’s the real deal. I didn’t realize how much his striking had improved it’s genuinely sharp. I think Usman could even catch BSD. He fights so recklessly and aggressively that it could end up costing him. The pressure might trouble Usman early, but it could just as easily be BSD’s downfall.
