Late housing payment

Gonna keep this short. I missed the deadline yesterday (Friday) for the housing payment, and today(Saturday) I’m having banking issues and since banks are closed on the weekend I’ll have to wait until Monday to make the payment.

That’s 3 days late on my housing payment.

Anyone know what the consequences are?

Weight rooms and athletics

Im starting in September and im wondering how the overall athletics are at ubco.

Is the weight room/gym good? Is there a swimming pool? What’s the most popular sport among the school?

URGENT!! What laptops are yall buying for engineering??

Is it okay if i get a cheaper/less powerful laptop that wont be able to run Solid Works and CAD very well and just rely on the school computers?

Ideally i want to buy the Yoga 7i (14” Intel) 2 in 1 Laptop because it acts as a laptop and tablet which is perfect for note taking but the disadvantage is the Integrated graphics card that will struggle with 3d modelling stuff.

Any tech geeks out there with some advice?

Best student clubs/organizations to network & compete in at UBCO.

I’m not talking anime or K-pop club or anything(no hate to them I’m sure they’re fun), I mean Business, finance, real-world clubs that give you opportunities and look good for employers or grad schools in the future. Do these exist at UBCO?

How can i tranfer from from bachelor of science to Applied science and?or business

Hi, im struggling a bit in understanding how i can transfer faculties as someone admitted to bachelor of science but wants to switch to business or applied science or preferably a dual degree in business + applied science.

Ive been reading a lot on the websites about first year science majors and how you should pick first year courses that are similar to the area that you will specialize in for your second year.

My issue is that I dont plan on specializing, and i want to switch faculties altogether. I know basically nothing about how i can do this besides that i should keep a high average, take elective course that match business/applied science majors, then apply to those faculties at the end of first year.

can somebody please give me guidance or point me to some useful resources? I want to make sure i take the right prereuisites for the faculties i will apply for.

Side note: is it possible to go from first-year science straight to a double degree in business & applied science or do i have to redo my first year courses.

Super stressed about this any advice at all is much appreciated : )
