Building a gamified platform to settle the TUM vs LMU rivalry. Need some brutal feedback from student insiders.
Hey everyone,
I’m working on a next-gen social network concept called LiveAura that aims to completely gamify university rivalries, and we are choosing Munich (specifically TUM vs LMU) as our global launchpad.
The core ecosystem turns the real world and your campus into an interactive game board:
- The LiveAura Map: You can open the dynamic map in the app, locate high-value "Aura Spots" over specific campus buildings, libraries, or hangout areas, and physically visit those coordinates to claim major points for your university.
- Organic Video Analysis: No fake filters allowed. Students upload raw, organic videos of their daily lives (grinding at the library, hitting the gym, chilling at the English Garden, or just doing random fun/saçma stuff). A cloud-based AI benchmarks the video on a 0-100 Aura Scale.
Every single point you claim from the map or earn from the AI automatically adds to your university's total global score.
Leaderboards reset weekly, but winners get permanent Gold/Silver/Bronze badges for profile legacy. The ultimate prize? The university dominating the month wins a massive, fully funded Campus Party.
Before we push this live, I want to ask you guys directly:
- Is the TUM vs LMU rivalry actually strong enough in daily life to motivate students to physically hunt for Aura spots and defend their campus pride?
- What kind of rewards or status (besides a massive party) would make a student want to be the "Founding Campus Ambassador" to run this on their campus?
We are currently looking for ONE founding student leader from TUM and ONE from LMU to officially lead the Munich Derby and host the first campus party (pure status/clout play, perfect for CV).
Be completely brutal with your feedback. Does this sound like something Munich students would destroy each other to win?
If you’re interested in leading your campus, my DMs are open.
