How much control would you actually give AI over your project management workflow?
I’ve been thinking about how much of project management could realistically be handed over to AI.
Things like creating tasks, setting priorities, updating timelines, or even using AI agents to actually complete parts of the work—like ad development, research, and other tasks—could probably be automated to some degree. AI could also summarize progress, spot blockers, and even suggest what the team should work on next.
But at what point does it become too much?
Would you be comfortable with AI just making suggestions, or would you actually let it change deadlines, assign tasks, execute work, and make workflow decisions on its own?
Curious where people draw the line between “helpful assistant” and “AI basically running the project.”
