I’m planning a small celebration and will have 10-15 people present. I’m looking to hold the celebration in a restaurant or bar. It will be the weekend of the Berlin marathon, so a pretty busy time in the city and I’d like to plan early.

Can you recommend any bars or restaurants that:

- Accept reservations pretty far in advance
- Are good for groups and not too loud for talking (maybe offering a private room even)
- Don’t have strict limits on how long we stay for (ideally no “reservation valid for 1.5 hours” as some might not be able to join at the start)
- Are centrally located ideally, but at a minimum are within the ring
- Have a nice vibe without being very expensive €€€

An example: A friend hosted his birthday at Minimal Bar in Fhain a few years back. He was able to reserve a room for free for the night and it held about 15 of us. I don’t want to repeat the same location, but that’s the kind of setup I’m looking for.

I made the mistake of downloading my bassliner Ticket, only to realize that I would later want to sell it to a friend. Is it possible to change a ticket once it’s been downloaded? If not, if I show up with a friend and show my id can it help them get on the bus?

Is there a better method I’m not considering?

First Fusion this year, already have Bassliner tickets to/from the festival, but I missed the XXL luggage add-on.

I’m looking for one of the following, in order of preference:

1. Someone traveling around the same time with an XXL Bassliner ticket they don’t need and would sell/swap with an extra payment.

2. Someone going by car who could carry a bollerwagen (loaded or empty & folded) for a fee—could even be someone with an XXL Bassliner ticket that could transport the cart folded.

3. Someone with experience who knows whether a collapsed bollerwagen is likely to be accepted without an XXL ticket if there’s space.

My Agenda:
- To festival: Thursday 7:55 am from Berlin, Ostbahnhof

- Return: Sunday, 9:15 pm Berlin, Ostbahnhof

The cart would not need to travel loaded; I just need it for getting gear to the station and around the grounds (though if I can transport it loaded, even better). Happy to pay fairly. Any firsthand experience welcome, as is help on just the to-trip or the from-trip. Thanks! 🚀 🛒

2 friends and I are traveling to the festival with the Bassliner, but return tickets are sold out for the ideal slots we’d like on Sunday/Monday (of course—our own fault for waiting). Now the friends are suggesting taking the train back, which sounds like it could be really busy and stressful.

I’m curious what alternatives there are to Bassliner tickets to return to Berlin, such as other privately organized shuttles, or if there are places to buy return tickets that get resold for the Bassliner. Also curious if the Bassliner releases any more last-minute tickets or if they really are done offering more rides.
