upv bsba real talk as a stem grad
(long post plss bare w meee) hello po bsba seniors! i’m a stem grad po kasi who got in thru ga round 2 and hindi ako makampante if bsba really is for me. as much as i want to really grab this opportunity, ayoko rin na mabaliw ako sa lugar na wala ako kakilala huhu. although very extroverted/sociable and adaptable person ako, i reaaallyy can’t help but overthink these stuff. i’d really appreciate it po if you answer some of my questions po and give some advice. i need to ship my reqs by june 28 po kasi HUHUHUH thaaank u sm 😅✌🏻
- are there any active orgs for freshies? like ones that will help us freshies with settling in or ones na will help us make connections beyond up schools hehe
- are the profs there super demanding/terror po? i know na mahirap pa rin naman kahit saang up campus pero i barely see any content abt upv hell week sa other socmed platforms po e HUHUHU i’ve had my fair share of terror teachers coming from a sci high—will that be of any help po?
- do u have any learning materials u can share po to us bsba freshies? which specific topics po ang need as fundamentals especially as a stem graduate? any pdfs, cheat sheets, yt creators, as in kahit ano po hehehe
- how are the job/internship opportunities po? i saw somewhere na nakakakuha naman ng manila internships yung bsa students and halos companies na ang humahabol sakanila. is it the same for bsba students po?
- if you’re a stem grad who pursued an abm-related course po, whats something u wish u knew before going to up?
- if you’re not from visayas po, madalas po ba kayo nakakauwi sa hometown nyo? during which time of the sem po ba maluwag yung sched?
