Can’t drill into the wall. How do I get this monitor off my desk? Noob in setting workstations

Rental study nook. The benchtop is fixed flat against the wall with no gap behind it, so all cables run out the front and down to the floor. Shelves above. No drilling allowed.
The monitor currently sits on a riser to my right while I work off the laptop in the middle, which means my neck is turned all day. I want the screen centred in front of me and the bench cleared off.
Best idea I’ve had is a clamp-on monitor arm gripping either the front edge of the shelf above, or the front corner of the benchtop. Has anyone done either? Anything I’m missing?
Bonus points if there’s a way to squeeze a second screen in. Photos attached, Australia based.

Also if anyone can guide in the process as well 🫶
