how did you start your tea journey?

just curious about how people started drinking tea. I’ve been wanting to try loose leaf chinese tea for a while so I bought coin samplers and loved it ever since

before that bowl was used for my teapet it was my ** **tapos the brewing vessel is a random cup from a surplus shop.

and even before that I used two paper cups

This just shows u can really drink tea with anything. You dont even need the lid i guess

about 10g of phoenix dancong bec it’s a big cup

some jasmine tea

I think this is green tea, I watched it get made (diff batch) but forgot to ask what it was due to a language barrier lol

a little bitter but maybe it’s because I always use boiling water. smells amazing

I got a new tea pet, his name is kevin

I tried 3 grams instead of 6

I tried steeping only 3 grams in my 120ml Gaiwan because I don’t wanna stick my head in an old cabinet every time I drink this tea. I feel like wet wood drinking this

cheap 10 year old sheng puer brick

3rd and 4th pic is 3rd and 4th steep

Osmanthus oolong tea coin

It tastes nice and the liquor is pretty clear

Idk what they’re called green? Lightly roasted? I like these green oolongs

I say this a my huge ziplock bag of roasted oolong stares at me(last pic)
