How much longer do you think?

To say that this hasn’t been the most stressful time of my life is an understatement, but I’m happy to reveal that all of my blood, sweat, and tears have finally began to pay off! I’ve truly learned a lot during this experience, even things I thought I already knew.

This mystery girl has been through A LOT: spider mites, mildew, Nitrogen deficiencies, over and under watering, moving, and it feels like all the other things that could’ve went wrong, DID.

But, here she is, in week 3 of flower and I couldn’t be happier with the results! I’ll admit I went a little crazy with clipping her fan leaves off, but it was for her own good (I pressed them 🤭). My cats also figured out how to get in the tent during the last week of veg and well, this is what I was able to save after having most of the branches broken/bitten to no return.

It’s almost time for harvest, so I’ll take all the tips and tricks I can get!

Bud Rot?

For context, this is a clone I picked up for EXPERIMENTATION. I’m just playing around with clones until I feel comfortable enough to start from seed. Strain name is Nocturnal Squishy.

We recently moved and the humidity and temperatures here are WAY different than the old house. I think the changes in temp and humidity caused bud rot, and I’m just curious if yall think the same. I’ve already pitched her, I don’t need my other plants getting it too.

Backwards magnifier?

So I purchased a spider farmer collapsible drying kit that came with snips, gloves, baggies, a locking travel bag, fly traps, a roll of plant tie, and a magnifier. My magnifier is backwards?? Like the lenses need to be switched around? Is there a way to fix it or can I just return that specific thing and get a replacement?

First time Indoor Grow

I’m trying to grow indoors and need some help finding things that might make the process a little smoother. I tried to grow some clones, but after doing a lot more reading I decided to scrap them and ask about some things that I noticed before I start over.

So far I’ve accumulated:
- 2 24x14x59 4 tier Spider Farmer tents that have 4 Velcro vents and 6 54W LED light strips (total 108W for 2 per tier)
- 2 small fans with 2 speed settings
- 2 humidifiers
- a Spider Farmer drying rack
- snips for trimming
- spray bottles for misting if needed
- FoxFarms big bloom, grow big, and tiger bloom plant food
- some ExpertGardener all purpose plant food high in N from Walmart (I was trying for budget friendly but realized I was killing them before they even had a chance to recover)
- small 4” starter cups
- 6” pots
- a small humidity dome that fits 8-10 peat pucks
- peat pucks
- some 3-1 seedling starter from from Back To The Roots (another Walmart thing)
- power strips

I have some Purple Cow soil on the way, as it was a recommendation from someone who grows in the same city that I’m in.

Any other things I should grab?

Do yall have any suggestions for how to regulate humidity and keep it high? Even with humidifiers and adding towels/putting a fan on a dish of water I was averaging 40-50% unless I misted the walls of the tent, and that brought it up to 65-70% until it evaporated.

New to this, please be kind!

ETA: light schedule is 12/12.

I bought some clones from a reputable dispensary and the one pictured looks to be growing white pistols?? Everything I’ve read online says that she is about to start blooming, but I feel like she isn’t ready. How do I stop this??? Is it even right??? I have a Spider Farms 4 tier grow tent with 108W lights. I feed all purpose plant food every other day and regular distilled or purified water when I don’t feed. The pH of the water sits between 6.2-6.8. I’m not entirely sure what kind of soil they are in, the bud tender didn’t really have the answers to the questions I had. I have added a fan for air circulation and cardboard over my open vents. I read that doing this keeps the extra light out when I’m in the room at night (it is my office and smoke room) and allows for the tent to breathe through the vents while I’m looking for an exhaust fan. When I am in the dark room when the lights are off, the only light I can see comes from the bottom of the tent bc it is on wheels. How can I remedy that if it has confused them??

Fleeing From Domestic Violence

My SIL is trying to flee to Tulsa since she’s already working here with her two kids. With it being Memorial Day on Monday, most places are closed til Tuesday. With that being said, does anyone have any suggestions for housing or places we can go to get her help with emergency housing and starting over from scratch?
