Seems like the woud dehiscence is getting better but in picture 2 - the frenulum became more sensitive recently and the scab that I circled seems like it's gonna tear itself apart with the skin when getting up from bed or moving a bit, any thoughts if I'm in danger of another wound dehiscence and what to do?
After the wound dehiscence a few days ago (14), day 20 seems to be starting to close the dehiscence as the prior forming exudate dropped by a lot and a strong red 'tissue' formed in the base line.
However, some dark blood spots drying here and there.
Doc told me to just keep going through daily neutral soap or salt baths and using Betadine.
Will give updates but currently feeling better.
The red dot below the donut area was a huge dark blood crust that got really thick and I was applying Betadine due to previous short bleeding episodes.
Day 14 I head into the shower and the crust breaks in half and I get to see stuff inside with some depth but to my surprise it really doesn't hurt at all?
I've searched and it seems related to second intention cicatrization???
Can someone help?
No fever, no smell, no blood as it seems to be granulation.
Should I put some ointment or keep it dry?
