Guys I want to open my own company where business and company owners or other people can write me to solve their problem like automation,creating app/website/webapp and etc.Now I cold call to tour agencies and still I didn’t close deal and earn money.Maybe I’m doing smth wrong, can you guys give me advice?

Hey guys, I'm starting my own agency and I don't know how to find orders and communicate with companies so I can take some orders. Is possible to do it through internet or do i need to do in real life? I tried to come to caffee and different shops but they were not interested, I just listed some things that I can do but sure I CAN DO MORE. I want to start my own agency since my friend also have his own company(agency) where companies or people give him orders and he make really good money. Can you guys give me some advices like where i should find connections and orders
I built most of a Telegram/amoCRM bot for someone who invited me to work with him. We agreed on $150, and he paid a $35 deposit. The bot is basically ready, but I need final credentials/data to launch it: amoCRM base URL, long-term token, and Telegram user IDs for access control.
He said we would do a Zoom call with the client/manager to get the data, but it didn’t happen. Then he traveled to another city. Later he told me he had already talked to the client and sold the bot, and said the money was mine. But now he hasn’t replied for around 3 days. I messaged him and called him, but no answer.
Before this, communication was normal.
I don’t know if this is just bad communication or a red flag. I don’t want to chase him too much, but I also can’t finish the project or get the remaining payment without his response.
What would you do in this situation? Should I send a final status message and put the project on pause? Should I ask for the remaining payment now, since development is basically done?
