The blood falcons, is a successor chapter of the 2 founding Loyalist iron warriors, they call themselves the blood falcons due to them feeling ashamed of their legion, becoming traitors, and there in heiding.

History

Most of their history was destroyed, by them to hide that there were once iron warriors.

War of the beast (544.M32)

War of the Beast is where their hatred for the orks began due to the orks, warping out 9 companies, almost getting warped out and needing to leave due to them having little numbers to contribute.

The dark star crusade (156.M40-170.M40)

This was a crusade, to take back imperial worlds from the orks. The crusade was led by the Doom Eagles, and assisted by blood falcons, Astral Claws, and the Fire Angels

The blood falcons would take back 4/23 worlds from the orks, but would lose 650 marines trying to take back soloia; the battle for soloia lasted 3 years until they finally took it.

They would play more of a supporting rule for the rest of the crusade due to their low numbers.

The trystar atrocity (200.M40)

The blood falcons will on their way to attack the dark elder, would get stuck in a warp storm causing their entire chapter to get trapped and be considered the last.

Will in the warp the blood falcons world have to turn to extreme measures such as eating their dead marines, killing the weak marines, and almost never sleeping.

After 343 years of torment, they finally managed to get out of the warp, but at the cost of 750 marines.

The Rainbow war (829.M40-834.M40)

The Rainbow was a war between the rainbow warriors, and the blood falcons.

The war started when the Rainbow warriors were discovered to have been trading with xenos without a Warrant of Trade, by the inquisition and were declared heretiches, so the inquisition sent the blood falcons to punish them.

The rainbow warriors struck first destroying one of the blood falcons' battle barges there for starting the rainbow war.

The rainbow wars ended when the blood falcons destroyed the rainbow warriors fortress-monastery, forcing them into surrender.

The fall of Xolotal (295.M41)

Xolotal was the blood falcons home world, but the world was hit by an ork invasion the blood falcons fought for 9 mouths but the world eventually had To give up, due to them losing over 700 marines.

The fall of the blood falcons (122.M42-123.M42)

The first born blood falcons grow over paranoid, due to them believing the Primaris marines to be spies sent by the inquisition.

The paranoia got so bad the first born begeing a genocide, on the Primaris and the primaris fought back, casing a war to break out, ending then the inquisition sent the Minotaurs to end it.

The inquisition would send the 200 blood falcons, on a penitent crusade to redeem their honor.

Blood falcons penitent crusade (123.M42-223.M42)

Not much is known about the Blood falcons penitant crusade, except all the first born, and chapter master died, and that they fight orks for the most of it.

The blood falcons only had one dreadnought, Ryan piercing, but was killed during the trystar atrocity.

The Rainbow wars

The first Rainbow war (829.M40-834.M40)

The Rainbow wars was a war between the rainbow warriors, and the blood falcons, the war began due to the inquisition finding out the rainbow warriors had 2,500 marines and defining the inquisition multiple times, and inquisition threatened to reveal that the blood falcons to be an iron warrior successor chapter.

The first battle on the rainbow warriors home world Prism, was the Kharonix atrocity, the blood falcons showed no mercy killing 500 rainbow warriors, and the rainbow warriors only killing 48 blood falcons.

The rainbow warriors would hold back the blood falcons just long enough for 50 rainbow warriors to escape as a contingency plan in case the rainbow war was lost.

The blood falcons would assault the rainbow warriors fortress-monastery, in order to destroy their gene seed, the assault would last 13 weeks with the blood falcons palling back due to them losing a lot for very little gain.

After the assault the war would go cold for 4 years until the rainbow warriors would launch an assault on the blood falcons main base on Prism, and would take it from the blood falcons, and then would capture the survivors and would hold them hostage.

The Rainbow warriors give the blood falcons an option, leave Prism and they would release the blood falcons, or they would kill the blood falcons hostages, they would choose to leave Prism and take the blood falcons hostages, in order to plan, to wipe out the rainbow warriors ending the first rainbow war.

The second rainbow war (840.M40-850.M40)

After the blood falcons rebuild their chapter, they would request the Doom Eagles to help out, as they had become close after The dark star crusade, after this the plan was that the Blood falcons would provide air support, and the Doom Eagles would be on the ground.

The war started off with the Doom Eagles deploying 3 streak teams of 6 on one of the rainbow warriors main bases of operations, while the blood falcons gave close air support.

After the battle they captured a rainbow warrior, in order to get info on the rainbow warriors.

The rainbow warrior revealed that they had over 5,000 marines also they had opensorbed a rainbow warrior successor chapter, and the dark snails into their ranks.

After this the rainbow warriors would launch an attack on the blood falcons a Battle Barge, with 3 strike cruisers, and 1 of their Battle Barge’s the battle ended with the blood falcons Battle Barge being destroy, with it only destroying 2 strike cruisers, and damaging the rainbow warriors Battle Barge.

During the battle between the Battle Barges, the Doom Eagles would plan an attack on the rainbow warrior fortress-monastery, and one of their armories, but the plan would not go thought for a while, because due to the blood falcons wanting to attack on an Xolotal witch was a base that was training their own imperium guard, known as “the rainbow knights”.

During this a 20 rainbow warriors would give info about the rainbow warriors, and that they had 6,000 marines, but due to them having little resources they had to use old power armories such as mark 1 thunder armory.

After this the rogue rainbow warriors would attack Xolotal, the attack was a success but the cost of their lives.

The Doom Eagles, and the blood falcons would launch an attack on the rainbow warriors fortress-monastery, the attack lasted 17 weeks before the fortress-monastery fell and 4,500 rainbow warriors surrendered will 500 would keep fighting, the rainbow warrior chapter master joseph johnson, would succeeded from the imperium, pledge allegations to the chaos gods, and then flee into the warp ending the rainbow wars.

The fall of the blood falcons (122.M42-123.M42)

When the blood falcons got Primaris marines, they viewed them with suspicion, even killing some, eventually the primaries blood falcons and asking the first born for answers, they got none.

After 10 year the primaris had enough, and decided to fight back, by not going thought with order, not help the first bron, and killing the first born.

Instead of treating the primaris, the first born would go to war with the primaris.

The war only lasted one year before the inquisition would send the Minotaurs to end the war.

At the end of the war only 172 marines

survived, they would be sent on a 100 year penitent crusade.
