Hurricane LaLa on Waikīkī

Hi! I’m visiting from the mainland, stuck in Oahu due to Hurricane LaLa. My friends made their flights out a day early, only mine cancelled! So I’m here alone - worried about potential power outage and the flash flood warning we just received. My flight was rescheduled for today (Sunday 8/16) at 4pm but I’m afraid it will be cancelled again. Just seeing how others felt, hoping you’re all safe!!!

What are these called??

Hi! I love journaling and especially love my travelers journals. Looking for the name of these black clips the elastic string sits in, any idea?? I can’t find them anywhere, specially looking for the black ones not the brass book ends. Thanks!!!
