A few more

Yesterday I posted my great-grandpa’s Type 99 at the range and figured I would share these.

On bottom is a 5th series Nagoya 38 carbine, also from my family.

on top is a 34th series TK that was sadly demilled and gifted to me as a kid. i was told the veteran was USN, and demilled it himself so his son could play army with it.

flag and bayonet are also great-grandpa’s bringbacks.

range day a few weeks ago

family heirloom 27th Series 99 that was brought back from my great-grandfather’s occupation duty in Tokyo. not technically a “battlefield pickup”, but still a bringback with the accompanying paperwork. defaced mum.

1908 Remington Auto

I bought this from a friend of mine some 6 months ago with a cracked forend and missing a buttplate. finally got around to replacing them! buttplate from NC Ordnance (with some filing/sanding down to size) and a repro forend from Numrich

quite excited to have an A5 variant in my collection.
