Thank you to everyone who answered my first question. It really helped.

I am now trying to unlock the later rooms (after Our Lady Beneath and the Gaol Hall). Some of them are really challenging and I find I am scrambling to level up my assistants before the day ends (and praying a useful assistant comes along).

I would like to know what persistent memories/tools/drinks/etc. you like to craft in advance and always have on hand. I’ve found the Mazarine Fife and Wind-in-Waiting to be fantastic, but I don’t have any rooms that require sky right now. I’m struggling in particular with winter, as I don’t have Edicts Martial and can’t figure out how else to get Wormwood Dream (I can get 15 aspect on Edicts Inviolable but still don’t get the option).

But yeah, just let me know what items you like to keep around please.

I’m in my second playthrough and I’m stuck on some mid-level books (8-10 mystery). As an example, I want to read a 10 grail book but I don’t have either of the skills that allow me to craft marakat. (I think I got lucky on my first run.)

I also don’t have a high-enough level grail skill because I’ve been trying to make sure I get all the skills instead of focusing on leveling up just a few skills. Maybe that’s the wrong thing to do? I was trying to fill out the Tree of Wisdoms better than last time.

Really appreciate your tips! I have 45 different skills and about half (a little more) of Hush House unlocked.
