Art for my own Slenderman Project

I've been wanting to make my own Slenderman project and while I don't have the proper resources and the time to actually get to work, I was able to create some random art for the world I've been wanting to make so here's what I have so far. It's my own version of Slenderman along with other characters. I won't spoil or say anything as I want to make this into a Digital Horror series similar to the likes of Lacey Flash Games.

"Lords of the Storm" | Wither Storm vs. Moon Lord (Minecraft: Story Mode vs. Terraria) - CONNECTIONS

I've seen this MU floating around and it sparked some childhood nostalgia so I figured I'd do some research and give this MU some connections. Without further ado, here they are. Also I forgot to add "Revamped" to the title so ffuuucccckkkk...

Core Theme: Harbingers of Destruction that are direct consequences brought out by the Hubris of Humanity. / Assimilating Abomination vs. Lunar Conqueror

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Lore Connections:

1. Connection to Influential Humans - Both are connected to people who hold massive influence in their respective worlds

  • The Wither Storm is the result of the actions of Ivor, one of the members of the Order of the Stone, who created the Wither Storm as a way to expose the Order of the Stone as frauds. However, it wouldn’t go according to plan when the Wither Storm started consuming blocks and getting bigger and bigger.
  • The Moon Lord is the result of the Lunatic Cultist and his minions, who were responsible for kidnapping the mechanic, the creation of the dungeon, and possibly the creation of the mechanical bosses, all with the sole motive of bringing back the Moon Lord.

2. Lovecraftian-esque features - Self explanatory

  • The Wither Storm can defy gravity while sucking other beings into itself. Due to its ever-consuming nature, it can get even better with no end in sight, possibly getting larger to an incomprehensible degree as it sprouts more and more tendrils. Not to mention that the command block, its most vital part, is essentially a device that can bend reality, and has been used in the past by the Order of the Stone.
  • People have theorized that the Moon Lord is the brother of the Cthulhu. However, it is confirmed that the Moon Lord is Cthulhu himself, given all the Cthulhu references via Eye of Cthulhu and the Brain of Cthulhu. Cthulhu himself comes from H.P Lovecraft, as he was a cosmic horror writer, and the book itself, “The Call of Cthulhu,” featuring Cthulhu himself as the main focus.

3. Split Entities - Even after their temporary defeat, both beings have split into different beings to continue their destruction and terror.

  • The Wither Storm was destroyed temporarily by the F-Bomb (no I’m serious) and got shredded into 3 smaller parts of itself. However, because the command block wasn’t completely destroyed, it allowed the Wither Storm to reawaken and only get stronger.
  • The Moon Lord got torn apart by an ancient race of Dryads, where it's implied that they ripped apart some parts of its skeleton, the brain, and one of its eyes, where they’d become the Eye of Cthulhu, the Brain of Cthulhu, and Skeletron.

4. Their Revival - Both beings were able to be brought back to life to continue wreaking havoc

  • As explained, the Wither Storm was able to be revived when the command block was still intact after getting blown up by the F-Bomb.
  • The Moon Lord got its revival from the Lunatic Cultist and his minions, who all set out to find a way to revive their Lord through any means necessary.

5. Their overall Setting - Both beings are from Games that take on a blocky-esque setting where players are encouraged to build and defeat their enemies.

  • Minecraft: Story Mode is an episodic narrative spinoff of Minecraft. Minecraft: Story Mode allows players to make choices, craft weapons, build blocks, fight bosses, etc.,
  • Terraria is a 2D game where players are encouraged to build houses, craft weapons, fight a multitude of monsters, etc.

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Trivial Connections:

1. Appearance and Size

  • Both are big and scary and have glowing eyes to strike fear into the hearts of everyone who sees them. Wow how dramatic.
  • They can shoot lasers and projectiles out of their eyes and body, albeit to different effects. What a surprise, am I right?

2. Boss Fight Behavior

  • Both fight in a similar behavior, floating in the sky while their powers are used to destroy their enemies. (Wither storm’s purple rays, wither skulls, and being able to function as different entities when split/ Moon Lord’s True eyes popping out of the Moon Lord’s hands and head during his boss fight, and his Phantasmal Death ray.)
  • Both have their own way of hindering the protagonist’s ability to fight. (Wither Storm’s Wither Sickness and Moon Lord’s leech Clot)
  • When both die, their forms shatter into different pieces. (Wither Storm gets split after it dies (temporarily) while Moon turns into a skeleton and falls apart)
  • They have a weak spot that’s basically their heart (Wither Storm’s command block and the Moon Lord’s heart)

3. Destruction

  • Both have caused massive destruction in their respective worlds. (Again, what a surprise am I right? Who could’ve seen this coming?)

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Contrasts:

1. Color Spectrum

  • On the color spectrum, The Wither Storm’s Dark Indigo Color scheme and the Moon Lord’s light cyan color scheme contrast each other surprisingly well. (Probably, I'm not really sure but it just look satisfying)

2. Different types of world-ending beings

  • The Wither Storm is more of a storm (wow what a surprise) that consumes everything in its path with no end in sight, sucking everyone and everything into its being, becoming more and more powerful. As such, the Wither Storm is a Devourer kind of world-ending being
  • The Moon Lord is described as “The mastermind behind all the terrors which befall the world,” killing everything in its quest for world domination. As such, the Moon Lord is a Conqueror kind of world-ending being.

3. Personal Intent of their creation

  • The Wither storm’s creation is a catastrophic mistake due to personal dramas and petty revenge by a disgruntled member who wanted to expose the Order of the Stone as frauds for lying about how the Ender Dragon was defeated.
  • The Moon Lord’s creation is a fully intended result of a choice made by the Lunatic Cultist and his minions to find a way to revive the Moon Lord, and the choices that they made in order to go to that point.

Survey for Slenderman's Usage in PowerScaling/ Death Battle-related topics

Here's the survey if you wish to fill it out.

I love Slenderman as a character and he's essentially been part of my childhood, especially when I've first heard of him from around 2014-2015 back when I only knew Slenderman from Minecraft. As the years passed and my interest decreased but then increased again, I've learned more about Slenderman, and my interest for him also increased when I got into powerscaling

With that said, ever since Slenderman became a copyrighted character but with an uncertain debatable canon and a lack of knowledge on who owns the character, I was a little conflicted on what kind of Slenderman should be used when discussing power-scaling.

I'd like to hear you guys' opinion on what version of Slenderman should be used in powerscaling.

Raph Rivarly Blogs: The Operator vs Samara Morgan

This is my very first blog! Keep in mind that this is not meant to be confused with Slenderman vs Sadako Yamamura, although this MU is basically an off-brand version of it lol.

As for why I chose Raph Rivarly as the name, I just think it sounds cool. I hope y'all enjoy reading!

The Hour of Agony - The Prototype/Experiment-1006 vs The Blob/Tangle (Poppy Playtime vs. FNAF: Security Breach) - Revamped Connections, MU Art, TNs, Commentary, and Animation Date Teaser

CONNECTIONS:

1. Setting/Background

Both originated from companies meant for entertaining children and adults alike. Said companies tend to have fictional characters that take center-stage as the mascots of the company to have an appeal towards children.

- The Prototype originated as a normal character (probably a toy of his own) for Playtime Co. as a Jester figure who juggles while walking with plank legs. As for Playtime Co. itself, it was meant to sell toys of various characters with varying functions to make kids love them.

- The Blob/Tangle originated to be several separate animatronics. The animatronics were of several fictional characters that belonged to Fazbear Entertainment, whose purpose was to entertain children in pizzerias by performing for them for their birthdays while they dined happily.

2. The Formation of the Amalgamation

Both characters came to be from assimilating many parts of other characters onto themselves, making them more powerful. They also acquire a substance that holds them together and keeps them going.

- The Prototype transformed from his toy form and found a way to gain spider legs. From there, throughout the chapters, he has been collecting parts of various bigger bodies to be added onto his body, giving him a vast array of weapons to kill his victims. The Prototype also runs by Poppy gel, to the point where he can regenerate from being torn apart.

- The Blob/Tangle consists of several tentacle-like wires that lash out from all sides. It also contains various animatronic parts and endoskeletons, with a rusty Funtime Freddy head taking place as the main head. Theories have suggested that the Blob is put together by Agony, a negative emotion that can originate from a traumatic event, and can latch onto the surrounding area.

3. The ties to their tragedies

Both characters have a tragedy that played a role in the overall lore of their respective franchise.

- The Prototype was once called Experiment-1006, with Elliot Ludwig being the one performing them as a way to learn if there was a way to bring back his late daughter, to which he used the knowledge to bring her back as Experiment-1007 aka Poppy. Even after Elliot Ludwig's death, the Prototype faced many more experiments from Harley Sawyer, who used the Prototype as a test subject to learn how to find the secret to immortality.

- The Blob/Tangle, based on some popular theories, is the result of the agony being assembled together to form one giant monster, set on accumulating more materials filled with agony to absorb into itself. Theories suggest that the agony comes from the murders that William Afton committed on several children, while other theories suggest that the agony comes from the deaths of the construction workers when the Mimic tore their limbs off and threw them in a pile.

4. Massacre and Destruction

Both are responsible for the horrible events that transpired in their respective franchise, whether it be collateral damage or pure genocide.

- The Prototype twisted the Hour of Joy from an attempt of escape for freedom to a full-on massacre. In the Hour of Joy, he planned to have the toys murder anyone and everyone. This ranged from the people who were directly responsible for the experiments they endured, to the people who were just normal employees and had no idea what was happening.

- The Blob/Tangle made many tunnels in its attempt to escape the Mega Pizzaplex after the canon ending. As a result of this, the Pizzaplex itself collapsed, causing massive amounts of collateral damage to the surrounding buildings. As a result, the Mega Pizzaplex ended up becoming fully ruined and left to rot as an abandoned building.

CONTRASTS:

Order and Control vs Chaos and Destruction

- This one is pretty obvious. The Prototype wants to maintain order and stability in the Playtime Co. Factory, while the Blob/Tangle is mindless monster who simply wants to destroy everything and unleash its tentacles to accumulate agony while ripping apart anyone who stands in its way.

Arrangement of parts

- The Prototype carefully uses the parts of his insubordinates to be crafted together and put with their weapons and tool for later. The Blob, in contrast, just drags random metals filled with agony and absorbs it messily.

Tales of The Black Phone - The Pumpkin Rabbit/Lorenzo Waterman vs The Grabber/Albert Shaw (The Mysterious House vs The Black Phone) - Revamped Connections, MU Art, TNs, and Script Teaser

Before I begin, I'd like to credit u/strange-Syrup-0 for the original MU and post, "Tales of Infamy". I'd also like to credit u/JohnBloodborne14 for the "Ring, Rabbit.." post that would also give me more inspiration to use for this MU. Here are their OG posts:

  1. "RING, RABBIT..."
  2. "Tales of Infamy"

With that said, here are my revamped connections for both characters for this MU!

CONNECTIONS:

1. Setting and Opening act

Their string of killings extend back in the 70s, where neighborhoods were statistically more dangerous due to the surging Homicide Rates. They disguise themselves was welcoming and polite figures to lure children in before taking them away and killing them.

- The events of the Black Phone occurred in 1978 where the Grabber kidnapped and killed 5 boys by dressing up as a part-time magician to abduct them and lock them in his basement before killing them later.

- The first of the Waterman killings started in 1974, and they keep killing all the way up to 1979. They'd lure children in with candy and allow them to stay the night before luring them into the basement to murder them.

2. The Mask

Both serial killers use masks to conceal their faces, and were used as a source of expression in their own twisted way. They also resorted to covering their faces when they were forcefully ripped off.

- The Pumpkin Rabbit primarily kept the mask on to appear friendly, until they were in the basement. From that point, he removed his mask to reveal his face before rushing into murder the helpless victim. He covered his face when Jay forcefully removed it.

- The Grabber wore different variations of the mask, with the empty expression being used when introducing himself to the victim, the smiling mask being used to tend to the victim, the frowning mask being used to punish the victim for trying to escape, and only the top half being used when fully intended to kill the victim. He covered his face in cowardice when Finney, removed it forcefully.

3. Mind Games

They play psychological games to mess with their victims' heads in their own way. They're meant to lead them into a false sense of security of warmth, only to tear it all away.

- The Grabber plays a game of "Naughty Boy," where leaves the door unlocked and he sits at the basement door, waiting for his victim to try to leave, only for the Grabber to punish them harshly and beat them with a belt until they pass out.

- The Pumpkin Rabbit, along with the Witch Sheep, use the corpses as puppets to lure victims into a trap, as well as mimicking their voices to lure their voices to try to get them to lower their guard before attacking them.

4. The Aftermath of the Victims

Even after their deaths, the victims are still trapped with their killer and are unable to rest until the serial killers are defeated.

- The victims of the Pumpkin Rabbit and the Witch Sheep are turned into puppets or decoration, forced to be used by their serial killers to lure more victims. They're spiritually tethered to their photobook until it is destroyed.

- The victims of the Grabber are buried in another house, leaving them to rot. Their spirits, additionally, are trapped in the Black Phone, trying to warn the victims about the Grabber as much as they could.

5. Death and Spiritual Haunting

Both killers would meet their deaths. However, they still came back as spirits to torment more victims.

- The Grabber was killed by Finney when his neck was snapped when he tried to kill Finney. However, 4 years later, the Grabber came back as the spirit residing in the Black Phone, motivated by pure hatred and drive to kill Finney's sister, Gwen.

- After the deaths of Tammy and Duckie, The Pumpkin Rabbit and the Witch Sheep were burnt alive by the people of Nash Lake after the little sister of Tammy, Sammy, reported the sighting to the police, but nothing could be done legally. However, years later, they'd return as spirits to torment and kill more victims.

Overall, I like this MU a lot and I have more things to talk about regarding this MU, like Deeper Meanings, debate, banter, music, fight potential, setup, etc., but I figured I'd keep it hidden for when I release the script after finishing it. I am HOPING that when the time comes, I'll actually be able to animate and bring this MU to life on Youtube!
