FancyLEDs HDMI 2.1 Sync Box with LG C6H + PS5 Pro + Apple TV 4K — any quality loss in reality?

I have an LG C6H 77" on the way and I’ll be using it with a PS5 Pro and Apple TV 4K. For audio I have a Samsung Q990F Dolby Atmos soundbar.

I’m looking at getting the FancyLEDs 3-port HDMI 2.1 Sync Box, either with just the TV backlight kit or the Ultimate Bundle.

I’ve seen a few people mention issues with Dolby Vision, picture quality, or Dolby Atmos sometimes falling back to a lower quality audio format when using an HDMI sync box.

My understanding is that the FancyLEDs box should simply pass the HDMI signal through, so ideally I should get the exact same picture and audio quality as connecting the PS5 Pro/Apple TV directly to the TV. Is that actually the case in practice? Has anyone noticed any loss of picture quality, Dolby Vision/HDR issues, Atmos problems, or HDMI 2.1/VRR issues?

My other question is about the Ultimate Bundle. My C6H will be on its stand with the Q990F directly in front of it, so there will be very little space between the top of the soundbar and the bottom bezel of the TV.

Because the bottom TV LEDs will probably be somewhat blocked by the soundbar, would the extra light bars/strip in the Ultimate Bundle be worth it? I was thinking about putting them behind or underneath the TV unit to create more lighting toward the bottom of the setup.

Would you go with the Ultimate Bundle in this situation, or just the TV backlights?

LG G6 77ich parter store Canada restock and end of summer sales.

I have never used the Parter store before and I just noticed when looking the 77inch G6 went out of stock which I thought was odd bc i'm in a fairly big city and there is no sales at all going on on for the 77 ich G6. I was planning on getting it when the next sale started which seems to be around the 15-20th and wanted to ask how long are they often out of stock for? and are the sales usually as good for labour day as they where for the BF in July?

S95H vs G6

So I just made a post about my concerns with the G6 and it’s horrible QC issues does anyone have any experience with the S95H vs G6 and what the trade offs really are? I know the matte screen is a bit of a difference but how much of a change does this really make? Is the loss of Dolby really a big deal?

77 inch G6 uniformity and banding issues

I was planning on picking up a 77-inch G6 at the end of this month, as I just moved and need a bigger TV for the space.

I’ve read a lot of great things about the G6, especially after the firmware updates that seem to have fixed most of the early issues. I also understand that people are much more likely to post online when they get a bad panel than when they get a good one.

My biggest concern is panel uniformity and banding. I’ll be buying through the LG Partner Store, and from what I’ve read, they don’t consider banding or color uniformity issues to be defects unless they’re severe. That has me worried that if I end up with a poor panel, I’d either have to live with it or pay a large restocking fee to return it.

For those of you who own a 77-inch G6, how common have these issues actually been? Am I worrying more than I should, or is this a legitimate concern? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences.
