Didn't get the position

Didn't get the position

I applied for a PA position 2 days ago and got denied today. For context, I've been at my SSD site for over 5 years now, have experience as an ambassador, AFM, problem solve, and almost every other department in the building. For the most part I keep to myself. I feel like not being an ass kisser plays a part if you get the position or not. I don't know. Maybe I'm just coping. So I want to ask: what does it really take to be considered for the PA position, and what holds people back from being offered at least an interview? I didn't graduate from community college and I don't know how much the recruiters care about that kind of stuff. I also refuse to work nights or relocate. I have no interest in being an AM later down the line. Lastly, management wouldn't even tell me what the schedule will be for the role when I asked anonymously on the VOA. They said that will be revealed during the recruitment process.

TLDR: Didn't get an interview offer for a PA role opening at my SSD site. Don't know why. Thoughts?
