Lebanese student looking for a full scholarship abroad — where should I apply?

Title: Lebanese student looking for a full scholarship abroad — where should I apply?

Hey everyone, I’m a Grade 11 student from Lebanon and I’m honestly getting pretty desperate trying to figure out my options for studying abroad 😭

My current school average is around 16.2/20, and I’m planning to take the SAT and IELTS during Grade 11/early Grade 12. I’m hoping to get a strong SAT score (ideally 1400–1500+) and a good IELTS score.

My biggest problem is money. My family isn’t wealthy, so I realistically need a full scholarship / full financial aid package that could cover tuition and, ideally, housing and living expenses too. I can’t really afford universities that only give a small $5k–$10k scholarship and still leave me with $30k+ to pay.

I’m mainly looking at the US and Canada, but I’m open to basically anywhere — Europe, Asia, etc. I’ve looked into universities like NYU, McGill, Concordia, UofT, etc., but the financial side is making everything really difficult.

For people who were international students or know about scholarships:

Which universities should I realistically look into?

Where can an international student potentially get a full ride/full financial aid?

Does a 16.2/20 average + a strong SAT/IELTS give me a realistic shot anywhere?

Are there scholarships specifically for students from Lebanon/Middle Eastern countries?

Are there universities that are less famous but generous with international financial aid?

What should I be doing right now in Grade 11 to maximize my chances?

I’m willing to put in the work. I just need to know where to actually apply because I don’t want to spend a year applying to universities that I have basically zero chance of affording.

Any advice, university suggestions, scholarship names, or personal experiences would be massively appreciated. Thank you 🙏

How do I fix years of biting my nails and the skin around them?

I've been biting my nails for years to the point where im embarrassed to show my fingers, but I also bite and pick the skin around my nails and fingers. I've gotten to the point where I bite the skin pretty far down my fingers, almost toward the second knuckle.

The skin around my nails and on my fingers is now red, dry, rough, and peeling, and my nails obviously don't look great either.

I recently cut my nails short as a complete reset, and I'm determined to stop biting and picking them completely.

For anyone who has gone through something similar:

\- How long did it take for the skin around your nails to look normal again?

\- Is the damage to the skin reversible?

\- What did you do to help the skin heal?

\- Did your nails eventually grow back normally?

\- Is there anything I should avoid doing while they're healing?

I'm mainly looking for advice from people who have actually dealt with severe nail/skin biting since i can no longer look at myself without feeling disgusting.

: Does playing DM with double sens actually help with autopiloting?

I saw a Valorant reel saying that before queueing competitive, you should play a Deathmatch with your sensitivity doubled, then switch back to your normal sensitivity for another DM.

Apparently, the idea is that the huge sensitivity change forces you to consciously control your aim instead of relying on muscle memory/autopilot. Then when you switch back to your normal sens, your aim supposedly feels more controlled and it helps you focus.

Has anyone actually tried this? Does it genuinely help with autopiloting and warming up before comp, or is it just one of those Valorant TikTok/Reels tricks that sounds good but doesn't really do anything?

Would love to hear if anyone has actually noticed a difference.

Lebanese student looking to study abroad for university — how realistic are full scholarships

Hey everyone, I’m a Lebanese high school student currently in Grade 11, and I’m trying to figure out my options for studying abroad for university after I graduate.

I’m mainly considering the US and Canada, but I’m also open to other countries if there are good scholarship opportunities.

My situation:

I’m studying in Lebanon and will graduate from a Lebanese high school.

My average is around 16/20 (roughly 80%), and I’m hoping to improve/maintain it in Grade 11 and 12.

I’m planning to take the SAT and I’m aiming for around 1400–1500+.

I’m looking for full or very substantial financial aid/scholarships, because paying full international tuition would be extremely difficult for my family.

I’m interested in doing a bachelor’s degree abroad, not immigrating permanently right now.

I’m willing to apply to a lot of universities and I’m open to less-famous universities if they offer strong financial aid.

I’m honestly pretty lost about how realistic this is for a Lebanese student. 😭

For anyone who has gone through this process, especially Lebanese/international students:

Which countries are actually realistic for getting a full scholarship for undergraduate study?

Are there US universities that could give someone with my grades/SAT target full financial aid?

How difficult is it for Lebanese students to get need-based financial aid in the US?

Are there better options in Canada, Europe, or elsewhere?

What should I be doing during Grade 11 and 12 to maximize my chances?

Are there any scholarships/universities that I should absolutely know about?

I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who has actually gone through this, especially if you’re from Lebanon or another Middle Eastern country.

Thanks!
