Went north to Biwako lake this past Sunday and painted Mangetsu-ji along with our Paint Club. It was super hot but everyone did a great job enduring the heat and showcasing a nice variety of styles.

Went to Tokyo from Osaka for the weekend to catch the Unicorn Gundam at Diver City, before it leaves next month. Painted with other painters local to Tokyo.

Had fun meeting up with a few artists from Tokyo to try to do a nighttime painting of the Unicorn Gundam.

I will be painting the Unicorn Gundam in Odaiba tonight (July 11) for a second attempt at it, before it goes away next month. The last time I went a few months ago, it was hard because of the rain. If anyone is interested in doing plein-air tonight, you are welcome to join us at 6pm.

Today we went with our Paint Club to Mirumoto-ji, near Uji, known for their Hydrangeas garden, but ended up not really painting any Hydrangeas. Despite it getting really hot and humid, we had lots of fun, and a few new people joined our club today.
