Poz partner

Hi everyone!

I’m currently in a relationship and we’ve been together going on 3 years. When we first met we had unprotected sex our first time as I was on prep and my partner said they were on it too. Once we established a monogamous relationship I stopped taking prep (maybe like 6 months after we met). I asked a few times if they still took their prep (as it was mailed to them) and they said no since we are monogamous.

Fast forward to a few months ago I discovered a pill that you have to take once a day. My immediate thought was that they’re still taking prep but it wasn’t the popular names like discovy. After a Google search I found out that it was ART pill for HIV+.

I usually do my annual bloodwork and get tested and my results have been negative. I got tested like a month after discovering and got on Yeztugo. I haven’t had any symptoms of hiv either and probably only been sick 2 times since we’ve met.

Now, my question is how do I bring it up to them? Or should I not mention it?

I know it can be a sensitive topic but I think they should have disclosed that information to me especially since we are in a relationship. I feel betrayed because regardless of hiv status that is someone I love dearly and being hiv+ isn’t a deal breaker.

How should I deal with this? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP ❤️
