Is this contract worth it?

I ship out next week as a 25H, I mainly picked the Army because I got to choose my job. I got a 70 on the ASVAB and didn't need any waivers. After hearing about what some of you guys say about the Air Force and how you would've rather been there, even when considering the options the Army gives you all, I'm really starting to get second thoughts.

It also sounds like my job will be disappointing. Is it worth the QOL sacrifice for the ability to choose? From what I hear it seems like I would prefer the AF culture and niceties and on top of that I don't feel that I'm ready to ship. Should I drop this contract and go AF?

Should I switch or stay with my current plan?

Just graduated HS, and I have already signed up for a 4-year active-duty contract in the Army and ship to basic training in less than two weeks. I have been thinking of switching to the Army National Guard instead to pursue an aviation degree program that I visited earlier in the year. This school has a 99% acceptance rate, and I can attend with 100% tuition and mandatory fees covered through their indigenous peoples' grant (not including Guard benefits, which offers a 100% tuition waiver). It offers a B.S. in Aviation and Aerospace Science and the R-ATP. The problem is; however, I was diagnosed with ADHD almost 5 years ago and never was prescribed medication, nor have I ever been treated for it. When I processed into the military, they claimed they could find no record of a diagnosis, and I enlisted without any issues. Right now, I'm stuck in a crossroads between switching over to this program or going forward with my current contract. I would hate to spend 4 years in active duty knowing that I could've been a pilot sooner. On the other hand, going active duty right now could potentially provide more stability (and the Post 9/11 GI Bill, which can be used for a Part 141 school). So, any advice, especially from any veterans who are now pilots, would be greatly appreciated.

CO Army National Guard or Regular Army?

Just graduated HS, and I have signed a DEP contract with the Regular Army for 4 years last year and recently discovered that my state waives tuition. Got through MEPS last year as well with no waivers needed and a 70 ASVAB. I have been looking at this aviation degree program because I ultimately want to be a commercial pilot. I get free tuition for this program as well due to being indigenous (though my HS grades were mediocre with a 2.38 unweighted and 2.5 weighted, which is why I wanted to do active duty to get full Post 9/11 GI and potentially have more options such as community college). I have been seriously considering the possibility of switching to Army National Guard instead of shipping in less than 2 weeks. Also dreading the fact that I will spend 4 years there. Does anyone here think that switching is a good idea and have any advice? Kinda sucks though because my recruiter has been helping me for over a year and has been good to me, though I know he won't have to live with the decision like I will.
