comments and search bar gone :(

now that flipanim has kinda had the final nail in the coffin, and I'm pretty sure it's not really coming back, do you have any idea where the most of the people you think have migrated? or where have you personally left

Hate being told I'm a child as a teen

I am aware I am not a full-grown adult, with a fully mature and grown prefrontal cortex and having more experience in life.

However, it pisses me off to no particular end when someone refers to me as a kid/child. I'm aware I'm not that smart considered my age, but I'm not a dumb fucking toddler either. When I hear the word kid or child, I immediately think of a 7 year old.

Same thing applies for when people just randomly overgeneralize or make assumptions of the teenage demographic. One example is Young Adult books. The writing in it either is too simple and extremely corny, or just full on melodramatic. Perhaps I'm not searching hard enough, but I'm tired of it. And don't get me started on why the hell is it almost a requirement to throw romance in almost every goddamn book (that I have seen).

I'm still fine with 'young' or 'adolscent' But not kid or child. Please. I hate being infantilized so much.
