PR1 - How crowded it is in July?

So, that is the question.

There are some slots starting at 10AM in my date range (and on my last day at 7:30 AM but it's risky if the weather is bad, and I really do not want to skip it), and I'm worried how crowded it is? Can the crowd ruin the hike experience for me, or is it just some people here and there around on the trail?

And would you reccomend PR1.2 in this case, is it less crowded?

Portugal: Algarve VS Madeira in July

Hi guys!
Me and my boyfriend are doing a trip to Portugal, 2 weeks in July. We will do couple of days in Lisbon, and couple of days in Porto, with day trips from each.

We are still not sure if we want to go to south of Portugal (somewhere in the Algarve coast - we don't want much of a touristy, crowded with families with kids, tourist trap place, so if you have recommendations, please write) or Madeira - in any case, we would spend around 5 days there.

We like both - hiking and swimming. How is swimming on Madeira, are there beautiful beaches as well? What is more affordable, and what are the rent a car prices for both places?

Thank you all 😃

amitriptyline / adjustment period

So, my doctor perscribed amitriptyline for my neuropathic pain in my back and neck, and for anxiety and panic attacks followed by it as well.

It's been 28 days since I've started taking it, and my final (and current) dose is 30mg. Honestly, I don't feel much of a change, I only have better appetite (which is great). It did nothing for my sleep, I still have trouble falling asleep, and I still sometimes wake up with a panic attack. I feel like my focus is worse, and on some days I experience awful brain fog, like I can't forma thought at all. I have mood swings and feel like I'm about to cry any second (which I also do, sometimes), and also some weird suicidal thoughts from time to time. In terms of my pain, there are days when I'm pain free, but there are more days when I'm in pain (and there were pain free days even before the amitriptyline therapy started).

So, since it's been "only" 28 days, is this still just an adjustment period and I can expect to get better, or this is the sign that it doesn't work for me and I should stop? I have seen that it takes around 6 weeks to work, but it's hard for me to deal with all this. Please share your experience.
