MIB3 SEAT/CUPRA MOI3_EU_SE_R9400L_MU1940_575919360AN – Stuck in Red Menu after firmware update
I hope someone here can help me with a MIB3 LG issue.
I was in the process of updating my infotainment unit from:
MOI3_EU_SE_R7800L
to:
MOI3_EU_SE_R9400L_MU1940_575919360AN
This is my first time updating one of these units, but before starting I spent around 50 hours learning about the system through YouTube, Reddit, forums, and other sources, so I tried to understand the process properly before attempting the update.
Unfortunately, when I reached the actual update process, it started failing on some of the files, and now the unit is stuck in the Red Menu.
I am now unsure what the correct next step is.
I have tried searching for a solution, but I cannot find anyone with exactly the same issue.
I would like to ask people with MIB3 experience:
- Has anyone experienced errors while installing:
MOI3_EU_SE_R9400L_MU1940_575919360AN.7z
from MIBSolution?
- Is there a way to recover the unit from Red Menu using a correct firmware package?
- Is the problem caused by the firmware file itself, or should I have followed a different update path/version sequence first?
I understand that I may have missed something, but I really tried to prepare myself before doing the update.
Right now, I am honestly very frustrated because I managed to get this far, and now I am stuck without knowing how to move forward.
