Kegland Spunding Valve w/ Inline regulator.
Hello everyone! *TL:DR* new valve doesn’t seem to be working* Mods if this is the wrong forum for this post please help me find the right one.
I recently purchased a Kegland Spunding valve with an inline regulator and the diaphragm mechanism doesn’t seem to be functioning properly. I set my tank to 13 psi using my CO2. I disconnect my co2 and I connect the valve and back out the orange screw until it reads 10. I tightened the valve just enough to stop the CO2 from leaking and I go about my business.
After 20 or 30 minutes I come back the valve pressure has now increased to 13 psi
I was under the assumption that by setting it at 10 if the pressure inside the tank increased, the diaphragm mechanism would auto regulate the CO2 to keep it at 10
I’m sure there’s a large amount of user error but some assistance would be great!
Thank you!
