Mini fridge Kegerator conversion, new to the game.

I’m new to the kegerator game. So far this is what I have... Still trying to dial in my keg of Stella. Running an inkbird control unit set to 37 degrees. Have an 80mm fan and control module to circulate air. 10 foot 3/16 beer line. Tap faucet is from Vevor. CO2 tank is sitting outside the fridge. Looking for ways to insulate the fridge a little more considering I had to remove the door shelving. Also the garage stays pretty cool throughout summer.

Kegerator help

Working on restoring this kegerator I picked up and trying to identify this line/tube. From what I can tell, it runs down from the Budweiser tower area and into this insulated box/reservoir section that has liquid in it.

I’m trying to figure out:
Is this just the drain line from the drip tray/spill catcher?
Or is it part of the glycol/air-cooling system for the tower lines?
If I’m no longer using that Budweiser tower, do I still need this line connected?

The reason I’m confused is because it doesn’t seem like spilled beer would intentionally drain into that insulated/liquid-filled compartment. The line also looks larger/heavier than I’d expect for a simple drip tray drain.

Photos attached for reference. Any insight would be appreciated.

Today’s my 50th birthday and we got it running!

So excited this thing is finally running. One keg of Widmer Bros Heffe and one of Fort George Vortex IPA. I accidentally created a pretty cool beer by combining the two while I was doing my testing. I can’t tag people but thank you Skill Karma for helping me get this set up.

Why won't my coupler fit on my Guinness keg

Won't screw on tight you see the coupler end is poly where it screws on and the Guinness keg has a flat end spot so why is that?

What to look for in a used kegerator

I'm looking to buy a used kegerator on FB marketplace, but I've never owned a kegerator and don't know where to start. What are the features I should keep an eye out for, things to beware, and what would be a fair price?

How to attach water line for continuous seltzer water?

I have the special keg top that refills from a float valve for seltzer water. The water line is already connected with a shutoff and check valve from the sink tap. The water line is Polyethylene Tubing, 1/4" Od, 0.170" Id, 0.040.

The water line does not fit on the sleeve.

Help in solving this?

Thank you!

Need Help Fixing a Kegerator Before Senior Year Starts

Trying to fix up this kegerator for my senior year of college 🍻. Been troubleshooting it for a minute now. Any tips, advice, or help from people who’ve worked on one before?

Kegland Spunding Valve w/ Inline regulator.

Hello everyone! *TL:DR* new valve doesn’t seem to be working* Mods if this is the wrong forum for this post please help me find the right one.

I recently purchased a Kegland Spunding valve with an inline regulator and the diaphragm mechanism doesn’t seem to be functioning properly. I set my tank to 13 psi using my CO2. I disconnect my co2 and I connect the valve and back out the orange screw until it reads 10. I tightened the valve just enough to stop the CO2 from leaking and I go about my business.

After 20 or 30 minutes I come back the valve pressure has now increased to 13 psi

I was under the assumption that by setting it at 10 if the pressure inside the tank increased, the diaphragm mechanism would auto regulate the CO2 to keep it at 10

I’m sure there’s a large amount of user error but some assistance would be great!

Thank you!

I think I’m dialed in 🤘🥴

10’ of 3/16 line with a 1/16 line inside it helped a ton.

New guy with more hoses and tubes!

Is all of this necessary or was this person really big on fine tuning something. It seems like a crazy number of gauges to have inside one cabinet.

Loose connection/leakage between Coupler and Beer Line

I bought an Edgestar KC2000 kegerator off FB marketplace. At first i was having issues with beer leaking through the top part of the beer line handle (picture 1) and then saw online that there should be a black coupling washer there. After this i bought the couplers and put them in and now the leakeage is coming from the base/insert screw-on location (picture 2)….
Ive tried experimenting with everything and have tried tightening with 100% force hand tightening. Is this user error, are there other pieces missing, or is this just fault equipment? Or do i need a tool to turn the screw on connection even tighter?

New to this and I’m trying to figure out hoses and tubes.

OK, so I got this kegerator off one of those Buy Nothing groups. I guess the guy moved and didn’t want to come back for it. The thing is massive and extremely heavy. It looks like the last time they just cut off hoses. So I’m trying to figure out what I need to keep what I need to replace and what’s involved in doing all of this. I’m gonna make another post for another part in here. I don’t wanna make the post to convoluted but what are these two big clear hoses and where are they going to? I’m sorry if I’m not giving enough information.

Brand New to the game

Just got my Facebook marketplace special home. Any guidance on all I have and what I need to replace/add to get started? I plan to keep it simple with 1/6 keg beer for me and learning to make my own seltzer water for the rest of the family in the corny keg.
