Help with Kegerator Regulator

Help with Kegerator Regulator

I paid $50 for this older danby kegerator and purchased a Landshark 1/2 barrel keg. We had issues with it so far (needed new o ring at the co2 tank and regulator valve) and now the regulator won't push any pressure out on the low PSI level. It only is pouring foam and very little beer right now. I purchased a new regulator and co2 line. I assume this will fix the issue? Any help would be great.

No CO2, 4th of July ruined?

Title says it all. Just realized co2 is empty. I live on Cape Cod which is basically an island so no where open to refill tank. Can you save the 4th of July. Anyone have any creative ideas. Can I rig up a soda stream co2 from Walmart to work temporarily? Anything??

UPDATE: called the liquor store where I get kegs looking for a hand pump. They gave me a number to a guy 3 miles away that supplies co2 AND all kegerator equipment. Turned a negative into an extreme positive!

20L Keg In Canada

I have a keezer setup with all the proper guinness hardware, but it can only fit 20L kegs. Unfortunately, I can't find any way to source the 20L kegs. Has anybody found a way to get these in Ontario? Alternatively, is there way to transfer the beer from the 50L keg into a standard 20L keg I can find locally?

Any help or tips are appreciated!

Insulative adapter for going from tower hole to wall-mounted faucets

The fridge we got (Edgestar BR2001SS) came from the factory with a hole on top to attach a tower, but we wanted wall-mounted faucets. We didn't want a gaping hole around the exiting beverage lines, so I designed and 3D printed this adapter that accommodates two beverage lines and has cavities for spray-foam insulation and tube insulation. It clam-shells together for support-less printing and to make the beverage line easier to seat without cutting off end connectors. I plan on posting the stl it to printables later but wanted to share!

Advice to preventing foamy beer

Hey all - I moved to a new house and inherited a kegerator.

We use it probably once a week, and each time I come back to use it, I end up having to dump out 3-4 solo cups of foamy beer.

Any advice on how to manage that? It’s it too much CO2 or do I need to disconnect the keg after each use? I welcome any expertise.

Many thanks!
