Can KDE Plasma replicate some of macOS's window management features?

GNOME has an extension that minimizes windows into the dock, similar to how macOS handles minimized windows. Is there anything similar available for KDE Plasma? GitHub.

There’s also a GNOME extension that adds a global menu that remains visible on the desktop even when no application window is focused.

Personally, I find Plasma more enjoyable to use overall. It would be great to replicate some of macOS’s behavior while still keeping the flexibility and freedom that Plasma offers.

Are there any plugins, widgets, or configurations that can achieve this?

Is diagonal movement worth adding to an RPG Maker MZ game?

I'm planning to make a game in RPG Maker MZ, and I'm wondering whether I should implement diagonal movement.

Do you think diagonal movement is an important feature, or is the standard 4-direction movement usually enough?

Does diagonal movement noticeably improve exploration and overall gameplay, or can it feel unnecessary in a traditional RPG Maker-style game?

I'd be interested to hear your experiences and whether you personally prefer games with or without diagonal movement.

Can KDE Plasma show minimized windows in a separate Dock section like macOS?

I'm looking for the Dock behavior where minimized windows are displayed as individual thumbnails/icons in their own section, separate from application icons (see attached screenshot).

Is there an existing Plasma widget, dock, or script that implements this?

Is there a GNOME extension that adds a separate section for minimized windows in the Dock (like macOS)?

https://preview.redd.it/t6weoy3r4qgh1.png?width=560&format=png&auto=webp&s=87c2f730d6c6a8770e69a66978865a8c9ab70b28

I'm looking for the macOS behavior where minimized windows appear as individual thumbnails/icons in a separate area of the Dock, instead of disappearing into the app icon or the taskbar.

I attached a screenshot showing exactly what I mean.

Does anything like this exist for GNOME, or is it impossible due to GNOME Shell limitations?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to ask a couple of things about Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth:

  • Is the first-person view still similar to Yakuza: Like a Dragon, where you can freely walk around and explore? I noticed it felt more limited in Lost Judgment, so I’m wondering how it works here.
  • Are Isezaki Ijincho and Kamurocho fully fleshed-out locations like in previous games?
  • Do these cities actually feel alive (NPCs, events, shops, side activities), or are they mostly empty and only used for a few missions?
