Spotted at Times Square. As a late night alternative to the R train, why does the MTA suggest taking the N to the 4/6 to the E when the E is also at Times Square? This is probably 40 extra minutes to get to the E vs. a 5 minute walk.

They designed this course so that once a car drives into Brooklyn Heights, there is literally no way out between the blocked streets, one way streets and BQE. For the past three hours the same cars have literally not moved off the block, and horns are blaring and air is thick with road rage and drivers screaming at each other. And this happens every year.

I don’t even own a car so this isn’t about me being able to drive somewhere, but I do wonder how a first responder could get anywhere. If there were a fire or EMS call in Brooklyn Heights, those people are fucked.

So what is up with this half marathon and how can the city let them design a course like this?
