I built a free Vedic planetary dignity database (1800–2100)

I’ve been working on a searchable database for Vedic planetary dignities and decided to make it freely available.

It lets you enter a date and check the planetary dignity configuration for that moment — including exaltation, debilitation, own sign and Moolatrikona — across dates from 1800 to 2100.

While building the database, I also came across some interesting rare configurations where several planets simultaneously occupy particularly strong positions, which was one of the reasons I thought it might be useful to make the tool public.

No registration or payment required. It’s simply there as a reference/research tool:

What part of a birth chart do you think is most underrated?

When people talk about birth charts, the conversation often revolves around the Sun, Moon, Rising sign, and the major aspects.

But the deeper I go into astrology, the more I wonder whether some of the most useful information is hiding in the things people tend to overlook.

For those of you who have been reading charts for a while: what technique, placement, aspect, or chart feature do you think is genuinely underrated?

And more importantly — what made you change your mind about it?

I'm especially interested in answers based on actual chart-reading experience rather than just theory.

What do these red lines forming a square in my birth chart mean?

Hey everyone,

I’m pretty new to astrology and just generated my birth chart for the first time. I noticed that there are a lot of red lines inside the wheel that form an almost perfect square in the middle. It looks really symmetrical and stood out to me.

Is this normal/common? Does it mean anything special when the red lines create such a clear square shape? Or is it just a coincidence?

Would appreciate any insights! Thank you 😊
