Hi landlords,  

I’m a landlords at one of the units in 898 Portage P.. I’m currently dealing with a situation where a tenant stopped paying rent after just one month of moving in. Since then, they’ve been making repeated excuses to delay payment and have also brought in additional roommates without approval.

 

I’ve noticed that this building seems to have a high number of rent disputes—just look at the cases listed here: Canlii

Has anyone experienced something similar in this area? What steps did you take to resolve it quickly and legally?
